The garden in the back is long and peaceful and the staff are friendly, speak English, and provide you with a map. Breakfast provided is pancakes, cereal, fruit, and coffee. Also the wifi only worked outside. They ask for a M$100 deposit in addition to per night, which is given back at checkout. I felt like it was a safe...

This hostel was recommended to us by other travelers and they were right. This hostel breathes the backpacker vibe. There is nice garden and an outside kitchen. Our room was very hot, but we had a few fans to make life easier. One night there was a thunderstorm and our backpacks and some clothes in our room got wet. Apparently...

We stayed one night at La Candelaria on our way to Chichen Itza and Mérida. The hostel facilities are nice and clean, very well maintained and decorated. The breakfast was the best we had compared to other hostels in the area, and it is served in the beautiful back yard. As the house is kind of small, some outdoor showers...

Only a short walk from the bus station, this is a great little hostel located on a square. The dorm room was large, and although it was pretty full it did not feel cramped at all. The square was always busy with things at night, right next to some good food places. The owner was very helpful of places to...

Only a short walk from the bus station, there is a great garden with lots of shade and hammocks for you to cool down and chill out after the walk. The staff are really nice and give great reccomendations, they even called our next hostel and asked them a question for us in spanish and then translated their answer for...

Hostel is very well kept, exceptionally clean and with excellent facilities. I liked the ethnic decor and most of all the large outdoors fully fitted kitchen. There is plenty of space outside to sit in the tropical garden and relax in hammocks. Travellers and staff were friendly. Valladolid is an excellent location to visit the Cenotes by collective or by...

A real gem and one of our best hostel experiences. A beautiful garden, lovely rooms, very clean bathrooms, extremely helpful staff ... can't complain. Even though sleeping was a bit difficult since the fan wasn't sufficient and there was no AC. Apart from that we totally enjoyed our stay.

Really loves this hostel! This staff were friendly and helpful- taking he time to give you a map and point out interesting things and local amenities. They then showed you around the hostel and explained how everything worked. Great breakfast of coffee, bread, cereal, fruit and eggs made to order how you like them! The space is amazing with an...

Well located in the middle of a beautiful unique town, cheap, helpfull staff, Nice breakfast. The only problem I had was with the dorms - hot, even with a fan blowing directly at your face. If you don't care about the heat - it's perfect, otherwise - look for a place with air-con, you'll probably sleep better.

This is a good place to stay in Valladolid, pretty close to the bus station offers good rooms at very affordable prices. Hosts are really nice and will help you in your needs from information about the city to places to eat and drink something. We also used th bicycle service (15 pesos per hour, approx 1€/$) to discover the...
