In town for the Cowboy Classic golf tournament and bike rally and I have fallen in love with this hotel and town. The history of the town is well documented, the new depot community building is beautiful and it's amazing to see planes taxiing down the road from the airstrip to the restaurant. The food at the restaurant downstairs is...

I have been coming to Beaumont for years. It just keeps getting better. Several times I have rode many times for the bikers breakfast. Someday I want to stay the night and watch aircraft fly in and taxi down the road. When I first came it was just a water tower and a hotel. Over the years improvements have been...

We ride our motorcycles here for breakfast. You will not leave hungry!! Fruits, sausage, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, french toast.....are just a few things. Sit and watch the planes land and the pilots come in to eat. Great place to go. Highly recommended.

Beaumont is beautifully placed at the summit of the Flint Hills on the borders of Greenwood and Butler counties. The hotel and restaurant serve travelers along Highway 400, as well as the occasional airplane pilot who drops in for a visit. First a stagecoach stop, then a way station on the Santa Fe line between St. Louis and Wichita, Beaumont...

The Historic Beaumont Hotel began as a stagecoach stop in the late 1800's. The slow but steady climb from one town to the next (Kansas is NOT flat everywhere) used a tremendous amount of fuel and water for the steam locomotives that traveled through in the early twentieth century. One of the largest wooden water towers in Kansas was built...

The 1800's Hotel @Beaumont has been mostly restored. The entire hotel is filled with fun old pictures and vintage airplane ads, etc. The 50's café is a fun place to eat and the surroundings take you back to a bygone era for sure. The rooms are ok, I wish they were furnished with more of an antique atmosphere, but they...

“Satisfaction room dependent. I do not recommend the room over the kitchen. The two front suites and the large room on the back seem to be the best. One room overlooks the air strip and parking to watch planes come and go, mostly just for a meal at the café.”
