What an amazing find in this peaceful village, but not far from the M40 for access and a great place if you want to be near London, but have peace, good food and excellent company! I spent a long time choosing this hotel-it looked perfect. When I booked, via booking.com it was showing that two rooms were available. The day before I was due to take up the booking, I received a telephone call from Booking.com telling me that the hotel had overbooked.
