Disappointing champagne afternoon tea experience ,to celebrate my daughters engagement. Had been recommended by a friend, who was blown away by her experience. Service was terrible, waiter did not understand us, not asked if everything was ok. Not a cheap experience and so disappointed.

Hi - we only had afternoon tea at Cliveden, so can't comment on staying there. However, there were children around with their families, it wasn't a stuffy atmosphere adults only, so I guess they must be child friendly.
