One night wasn't enough here, we would of happily stayed longer. Lovely quirky cottage. We had all 3 rooms as there was 5 of us. All the rooms were very clean & comfortable. It was like home from home. Anna the host made you feel very welcome. The cottage is set in a village with lots of places to eat. Great selection for breakfast cereals locally made jams & preserves, Anna came in to cook our breakfast which was delicious. Highly recommend staying here.

We've just returned from a weekend staying at The Just So Cottage. Anna the host was very welcoming and provided us with a wonderful breakfast. Our room was small but very comfortable with an excellent shower with loads of hot water. We were given free use of the kitchen to make tea/coffee when we wished and there is also a comfortable lounge to relax in. A perfect place to stay. I would mention though that as the cottage is very old (1605 and Grade 2 listed) the stairs are steep so it would not suit someone with mobility issues.

We had a delightful experience during our one-night stay at the 17th Century Just So, "mind-your-head" Cottage in August. Our travel was from London Heathrow to North Yorkshire and required an overnight stay along the way. Fortunately, we booked into the Just So Cottage in lovely Winslow UK. Anna, our host added to the cottage's charm with her wit and friendly nature. Her garden reflected the fact that she was professional gardener by trade. Our room was more than adequate, clean, and well-appointed, and the English breakfast was five-star. The cottage was named after the Kipling bedtime stories, and the cottage lived up to the stories' peaceful and calming effects. Our only disappointment was that we had only one night there. The best recommendation we can give is that we plan to return.…

It’s an old house that doesn’t promise much on the outside. But inside its old but not decrepit. It’s not spacious but it’s lovely. Very nicely decorated and with a very breakfast. The host is very friendly too. Highly recommended

Fantastic stay. Quiet and charming setting. The cottage was amazing....Our host was welcoming and extremely helpful. An delicious english breakfast every morning made you feel you were on vacation. The town of Winslow was charming and interesting. You will need to car to see points of interest but town is centrally located. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

My wife and I have just spent a couple of nights in the Just So Cottage and cannot thank Anna enough for being a great hostess. A warm welcome on our arrival. Breakfasts are well cooked and set you up for the day ahead. Our room was spacious with an on suite, having a shower and a large roll top bath. Only things to be mindful of are the low beamed door frames and the narrow winding staircase but that's what gives the cottage it's charm. Ideally situated for Bletchley, Stowe and other places of interest. You're just a short walk from the Bell pub and the food there was pretty good, specially the pies. Thank you again Anna for being a wonderful and charming proprietor. Lorraine and Dave

There are 3 rooms in this B&B which share a sitting room, dining room and kitchen. As there are no tea making facilities in your room you may meet another guest in the kitchen when making an early morning cup of tea. This property is certainly not suitable for anyone a little infirm as the acess staircase to the rooms is very steep and winding and although authentic is dificult to use with a suitcase. The cooked breakfast was good and well cooked. However my wife requested a continental breakfast which comprised of a range of cerials, museli, toast and fruit juice. There was no fresh fruit or croissants etc. which we have come to expect at this price range.

Had the unexpected pleasure of a nights stay at the Just So Cottage as my usual hotel was booked that night. Was welcomed by Anna the proprietor who made a pot of tea and introduced me to the other guests who'd just arrived. The house was built in 1605 and is grade 2 listed but has all of the comforts you need with a little snug downstairs with desk to work or watch TV and a breakfast room. Be warned the spiral stairs are steep (see wevsite) but my single room on the top floor was very comfortable and has it's own private bathroom with enormous roll top bath. Guests have free use of the downstairs kitchen for coffee and tea. Breakfast was beautifully cooked to order and I will stay again.

Loved this place. It was just like a picture postcard. Anna was an amazing host and our bedroom was beautiful. Would definitely stay here again. It was immaculately clean even though it was such an old building. The breakfast was lovely.

We stayed for 2 nights. If your'e looking for a quaint typically British country cottage in a quiet village, you won't do much better. The cottage was built in 1605 and retains many of it's original features with comfortable modern fittings. We booked the superior double room, which was spacious and comfortable. Our hostess, Anna, was most welcoming and ensured we were well looked after, including a well prepared breakfast. For other meals, there are a couple of pubs and restaurants within a very short walk. There are no "views" from the window, but the garden is delightful. Winslow is well located for easy access to Oxford, Bicester, Stratford, London and Bletchley. This was a really good find that exceeded expectations. Thank you Anna for your warm welcome.
