Great little B and B and really good value! Tucked away in a quiet village this place is perfect if you want a clean, big room with friendly hosts. Very reasonably priced, nice village location with a good local pub serving food. Will definitely be back if we are in the area. Thank you!

after an unfortunate start to our stay (the heating had been turned off to air the property after a smoker had been staying for a few days) this place was more than adequate for our needs. Comfortable bed (though pillows could be improved) spacious well-heated bathroom, TV, WiFi, secure off-road parking. Lovely views with little terrace for guest use. Peaceful,...

Stayed for one night - very large room with superbly comfortable bed & all we needed & more for a budget stay! Clean, tidy, warm & welcoming - only downside was the size of the shower head! Proximity to Bletchley Park, Claydon & Waddesdon Manor is big advantage for anyone interested in British Social History, whilst Milton Keynes Bowl is...

The room was great, very clean spacious, a large modern bathroom, very good WiFi, considering the area, the price charged is very good, and would make it worthy of a repeat visit. Although.... I would willingly pay more per night if it had a larger TV there is plenty of wall space opposite the bed, but instead the small TV...

As the name suggests, the rooms resemble (or are indeed) converted stables separate from the main house. Modern, large and well appointed, our room was clean, quiet and comfortable. In-room continental breakfast is provided. Other than at check-in, we never saw our host again; not even to check-out (luckily the tariff was pre-paid). The local pub in North Marston is...

The Stables is a perfect place to stay in Winslow, my husband and I stayed here for one night, it was our wedding anniversary and we wanted to visit a couple of the national trust houses near by, we couldn't of picked a better place, the room was spacious, very clean, the king size bed was very comfortable, a kettle...

We decided to take a long weekend to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary taking in a couple of the National Trust properties in Buckinghamshire. We chose The Stables B&B @ Pear Tree Cottage for its central position and we liked the idea of having breakfast in our room at our leisure. Firstly, Pear Tree Cottage is NOT difficult to find as...

The Stables are perfectly placed for an overnight stop, the rooms are spotless, with bathrooms to match.A generous inroom breakfast is supplied and this adds to the appeal because no matter what time you want to set off breakfast will be ready. Set in a lovely village with a gastro pub 5 minutes away,i can't recommend The Stables highly enough.

The accommodation is all you need for a self sufficient overnight stay. Breakfast is DIY with the bread, preserves, cereal, milk, fruit and hot drinks all left in your room/fridge. A toaster and kettle are provided. We did not meet up with the hostess, Sue, but our conversations on the 'phone left me with a very positive impression and we...
