One of two eateries in the high street in Linton we were staying for a few days and had tried the dog and duck (see separate review), so we though we would have the takeaway service one evening. We ordered a pizza and a burger and fries. It cost £19.50 and took around 15 minutes to be ready. Bar staff...

Room was reasonable size but a bit shabby. In the restaurant we had pizza which was thin and crispy in places but quite doughy in others -though the toppings were nice. Breakfast was good, served by the chef. Hot water seemed to be an issue with a notice in the bathroom warning that if other guests had recently filled their...

I stayed here for my honeymoon night and overall had a very good experience. The room itself was nice but the bed did have some hairs on it, we had to actually fix the air con ourselves because it wasn't working properly, and we needed it because that room was absolutely scorching hot without it, though it was ridiculously noisy....

Stayed here on Saturday, have family living in Linton. Lovely, spacious room above the pub, wasn't noisy at all and sleep very well. The food was great and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Would recommend staying here and would happily stay here again. Pub was very clean and you can see the kitchen in the dining area (always...

Booking welcome on a muggy overcast Sunday was reflective of a well run pub Starters are typical, under £6, including prawn cocktail revived from the Sixties. It must have seduced a generation of ladies with the delicate pink Fanny Cradock.[1] Marie Rose dressing now replaced by a judicious squirt of ketchup and salad cream with a sprinkle of sugar to...

Have eaten here several times and been for a drink half a dozen times. The staff are friendly, its clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Occasional groups of loud local heavy drinkers can be a bit annoying (only happened once). Nice decked area out the back facing South/West if the sun ever comes out!

Visited this pub with a view to visiting again with relatives in June. Arrived at 2 p.m. but unfortunately the kitchen closed at 2 p.m. so unable to order lunch. Friendly staff and were happy to provide us with sandwiches which were fresh and wholesome. However, meant that we couldn't try the meals to recommend first hand for next visit...

Our group of four had an evening meal here and had booked in advance which was just as well as the restaurant was full. It’s a lovely pub and the beer was great. However we thought that the food on a wide ranging menu was average and expensive. Two of us had some asparagus with fish and it was served...
