A grand hotel and ex stately home in its own large and magnificent grounds. Accommodation is in a variety of rooms, some are in the depths of the old building and all well appointed. Conference facilities are excellent as are the dining and public rooms.

Beautiful old hotel with modern extension. very comfortable room in modern extension which lacks the charm of the old house. The rotating bar was very loud and conversation was being drowned out by the background music, which inevitably caused other guests to speak louder making the quiet drink impossible. Breakfast was of a good quality. Meeting facilities in the old... More

We stayed in this hotel for a weekend treat just to relax and recharge the batteries. We booked via the internet and had confirmation bed and breakfast was all included. On arrival, the receptionists initially could not confirm the booking was paid. This took a few minutes to resolve. We were given our room key which was for a room... More

A delightful afternoon with delicious sandwiches, scones and cakes. Chloe and Andrew were very polite and helpful, their knowledge of the different types of teas helped us choose a particularly flavoursome darjeeling. It was also a lovely touch to receive a hand written card wishing us a happy anniversary. Be sure to take time to explore the house and garden.... More

We visited Crewe hall for an overnight spa break. This is our 3rd time at the hotel in as many years. We have always found the service on our previous visit exceptional and have never had reason to complain but unfortunately we were disheartened this year with the change in the hotel. On arrival we went for a coffee in... More

This is a nice place, way above average for the rooms, facilities and staff and yet not much more than a Premier Inn. The brasserie/bar had a nice selection of bar meals and more substantial meals, the spa is excellent, the service very friendly and rooms lovely. What more could you want? Oh, and the building itself is magnificent. I'll... More

The main hall is beautiful steeped in history with wonderful fireplaces and staircases. The Christmas decorations are beautiful. The chapel is wonderful. We were in the conference events wing the rooms are spacious and bathrooms lovely. High standards of housekeeping. The brasserie menu is expensive and disappointing. We ordered 2 burgers, a pizza and a salad at the bar -... More

From the minute you see this hotel at the end of the long stately drive, you cannot fail to be impressed. It is truly a beautiful building which is even more awe inspiring when you enter the reception area and view the full charactor. We opted to pay a small supplement for a room in the original part of the... More

After getting married on Saturday we were looking forward to a short romantic break. Unfortunately it was a complete disaster. The restaurant was closed so lunch, evening meal and breakfast were all relocated to a conference room. We couldn't believe that in such beautiful surroundings and at such a high cost there was no restaurant. We were booked in for... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
A superb 17th century hotel located in Crewe in Cheshire. This Grade I listed building has been attracting refined guests since the 17th century, including our current monarch Queen Elizabeth II. This hotel is a fine mix of historic Jacobean and sharp 21st century architecture. The magnificent history oozes throughout the hotel from exquisite marble fireplaces to stained glass windows. Yet the contemporary edge of Crewe Hall can be found throughout the hotel from the revolving bar in the brasserie to the state-of-the-art leisure club. The hotel has 117 spacious, comfortable bedrooms, some are located in the historic old building but majority can be found in the new contemporary wing. Just minutes from the M6 motorway, Crewe Hall is only 24 miles from Chester’s sights and shops and close to Liverpool and Manchester.Crewe Hall is home to a modern conference and events centre. It is very impressive with both it's facilities and service that we offer you.
