Stayed prior to flying from the airport the following morning. Free parking for overnight stay (enter your car details on a computer next to reception) and if you book directly with the hotel you can pay for longer term parking as a package including airport drop off/pick up as part of the service. Rooms clean and pretty standard size although some may think a little dated but don't let that put you off as its excellent value for money and about 3 miles from the airport. We never ate in the hotel as the restaurant menu was the same as the bar menu which was slightly disappointing, so we ate at a local greene king pub the Waggon and Horses which was a 10 minute walk away but I wouldn't recommend eating there unless you want cheap but not cheerful! Reception kindly gave us a breakfast to go in a bag that we were checking out before 7am, with a coffee or tea to go, which was appreciated. Be aware the hotel requires prior notice the night before for that order. Would we use again? Yes, although next time I'll leave my car there for the duration of our holiday and use the hotels drop off and pick up service.

I travel much of the UK for business and it’s very rare that I know where I’m staying beforehand unless I’m lucky enough to be in the North West.

Simply put the Best Western Plus Manchester Airport Wilmslow Pinewood Hotel is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in for business (and I’d not hesitate to stay with my family), from top to bottom the staff have a smile and a friendly word and the property itself is well maintained throughout. Now the new link road is complete the airport is maybe 5-10 minutes in a taxi and the hotel has enough parking that you can leave your car in safety and start your holiday as soon as you check in.

The rooms are well equipped with flat screen televisions and Wi-Fi speeds of 50mbps + which is important when dialling into the office server or wanting to stream online content, the hotel has a tie in with a local gym or alternatively the leafy streets nearby offer enough scope to go out and run if that’s what takes your fancy. The food is delicious with an ever changing seasonal menu, my own favourites recently being the black pudding scotch egg starter and the deconstructed Lancashire hot pot main and don’t miss the breakfast in the morning (again served with a smile).

Finally a mention for Karen and Kathryn both of whom work tirelessly to make the customer experience second to none!

From start to finish we absolutely love it! The hotel is 5 mins away from Manchester Airport and was super easy to find and get to. There is plenty of car parking spaces around the whole building. Check in was very easy, a lovely lady talked us through online check in which took 2 minutes to complete and we were sorted. Any food/drinks can be paid as you go or at the end of your stay.
Our room had everything you needed, plenty of space, decorated really nice. They had a pack full of tea/coffee etc.
This was not a problem for us but you do need to be aware that you are on the flight path so at 6am you can hear the planes.

There are clear signs all over the building of where to walk etc due to the COVID. They had automatic hand sanitisers around the building, even on each levels when you get of out the lift which I thought was fab!

The Lounge area has tables and sofas so plenty of room to relax, you can order via app your drinks etc but the staff were absolutely amazing, we went ‘old school’ and ordered with them (you have a choice) they knew when we had finish and asked if we wanted another etc so fab job guys!

We were booked in for the meal in the hotel, so after a quick change etc we went for our evening meal. We did a package deal which included 3 course evening meal, bed and breakfast and looking at the menu, it all sounded delicious. The quality of the food and the presentation was at a very high standard. We had a lovely evening, again the staff went above and beyond.

Breakfast was brilliant, we had a menu that had all the food and drinks on, you can order anything you wish. The choice was large, we had hot food, plenty of it and the quality was high.
We absolutely loved our stay here, a lovely Gem of a place, perfect if you want to stay before going to the airport or an evening away etc. Again, the staff where so friendly, we will most certainly be coming again.

We stayed here as we had an early flight the next morning. We weren't looking for much just somewhere to get our heads down for a few hours, so £70 a night for a family room less than three miles from the airport sounded like a compromise.
Well we've arrived, there's plenty of free parking, the room is exceptionally comfortable and the bar is a friendly place you could easily waste a few hours and feel welcome. So my problem is I can't see the compromise. This place is a little gem which I fully intend to use again and next time I don't intend to arrive late and leave early.
So some facts. It's an easy 2.7 me from the airport which should take about 7 minutes. The car park is as I said, free. Many airport hotels add a charge for parking; the cheek of it. There is a lift to all floors, a 24hour reception, a nice bar area ( you can tell I liked the bar), a restaurant with room service. Our room was ensuite with tea and coffee making facilities, a big TV and iron with board and a safe. The bathroom was quite large with a deep bath, over bath shower, super fluffy towels and tiny shampoo things.

I have used this hotel several times now for business and leisure. It is ideally located to Manchester Airport, the park and fly works really well and is more civilised than Jet Parks and the like. The rooms are comortable and clean, the staff are friendly and efficient. There is a nice bar area and restaurant too.

I wanted to stay outside Manchester Metropolitan and google maps said this hotel was just in Cheshire East. Good experiences started when i phoned hotel for a reccomended taxi firm for an airport pick up and they gave me the firm they use for their Park and fly. Short ride to the hotel and on line check in meant i just collected an envelope with room key in a matter of seconds from a friendly receptionist. Got the room at a good price with breakfast from the Best Western website. Room was good and slept well. Excellent breakfast served by friendly staff completed my stay. Easy walk to Handforth station for a quick Zig Zag return to the airport via Wilmslow

We've stayed here twice now, once before the dreaded covid and one during. Have to say that each occasion was a lovely experience, every member of staff we spoke to was really polite and helpful. There's some new measures in place for social distancing, for eg booking breakfast in advance and them serving you the food rather than a buffet but it was done seamlessly and the breakfast really is a good one. Lots of choice, plenty of juices and everything cooked to perfection and offers of refills and extra toast etc regularly.
The room we were in this time was slightly dated but saying that it was spotlessly clean and the pillow quality was great. Bonus to have a nice deep bath too!
No noise from the airport either considering its so close so is really convenient for anyone travelling abroad. A really enjoyable stay, very likely we'll be back for a third time.

Stayed one night on the 2nd October with my fiancé. Very easy to park, finding the reception and to check in. Staff were very friendly. We was given room 203 but we found that the bath was very rusty around the plug hole, was not very inviting for a bath or a shower, so we contacted reception about this and they happily moved us to room 120. We had no issues with this room apart from it being hot & stuffy.
The room& bathroom was very very clean, being a housekeeper myself and worked in 3 previous hotels, I know it could be possible to find dust or hair somewhere but I couldn’t find a speck of dust ANYWHERE I even checked the hidden places .. skirting boards & top of frames (because I was pleasantly surprised that I couldn’t find any) there was a generous amount of tea/coffee/toiletries as well, and a spare set of towels in the wardrobe which we was happy about too. We was quite gutted there wasn’t an option to rent movies. We would have slept a lot better if it wasn’t so hot but the bed was comfortable. We was going to have dinner & breakfast at the hotel but found it quite expensive so we didn’t bother and went close by instead.

This is a fantastic hotel with amazing staff that are friendly, professional and go the extra mile. Having worked in hospitality previously, I'm rather fussy.
I was welcomed late in the evening by Jess, who is a credit to the team. Wonderfully polite and helpful, I saw her several times throughout my stay where she dispensed extra coffee, plasters and smiles throughout my stay.
Upon opening the door to my room, I was very impressed with the cleanliness and amenities, which included the normal tea and coffee, a coffee machine and most importantly, a fan located in the wardrobe. The room was gorgeous and I had a wonderful night's sleep. The only criticism I would give is there wasn't a bath in my room, but the shower was lovely and warm. Note my room was upgraded from my original booking.
I also made a special request when booking, and this hotel did not disappoint - see pictures for my framed photo of Spock ♥
Simon, the handyman/gardener was also lovely, stopping to have a chat (which means a lot when you're traveling alone) in the beautiful gardens. I spent rather a lot of time there in the peace and quiet reading, the roses are rather lovely.
The bed was wonderfully comfortable and I slept soundly all night.
I'm staying in Manchester City centre this evening and while the hotel is perfectly adequate it's nothing compared to the personal service and attention to detail I had here. Nothing is too much trouble and should I be returning to Manchester I will be staying here again.

The hotel is in a great location close to the airport, although the taxi the hotel booked for us charged us £25 for the privilege of driving us down the road…

Inside, the bar area is quite nice and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately the floor we stayed on was damp and stank. Water was actively pouring through the ceiling. I cannot understand why you’d have guests staying anywhere near this - the place should be closed while it’s fixed. We woke up with the sniffles, unsurprisingly, after a terrible night’s sleep due to the smell and noise from neighbouring rooms.

Dear cagednomad Thank you for leaving your feedback following your recent stay with us. Being familiar with the area that you have mentioned, the recent cold temperatures that we experienced have damaged the roof covering in part. We have attempted to repair but this has not resolved the issue. As a result and our continuous commitment to invest in the hotel we have recently authorised the replacement of one of the roof areas which is impacting the hotel negatively. Of course, this does take time to orchestrate and for the repairs to take place but they will happen as soon as possible. Once complete we will certainly be addressing any repairs or affected areas internally. We hope we get the opportunity to welcome you back to the Pinewood in the future to see the improvements that have been made Kind Regards Rob Nicholson General Manager
