We stayed one night to visit family. Checked in and told about breakfast and shown to our room. A very nice twin with views overlooking the very pretty farm yard. Breakfast was lovely and such a good choice of hot and cold items. We would certainly stay again and thoroughly recommend Bridge Farm B&B
It's not every farmhouse B&B that has the worlds third largest steerable radio telescope almost in it's back garden. The room that I occupied was very spacious, well equipped, extremely comfortable with an immaculate en-suite shower room. It seemed a lot of thought and pride had gone into the quality of the room and I had a great nights sleep. Free Wi-fi was provided with no annoying sign up procedure. I felt a bit guilty in the morning as being the only guest the landlady had still gone to the trouble of laying out a full breakfast buffet which looked terrific. I opted for the Staffordshire Oat Pancakes with Grilled Cheese and Bacon. Excellent. Definitely a place for a re-visit fr me. Exceptional value IMHO.
In the middle of an incredibly busy and at times stressful festive season, Bridge Farm provided much-needed rest and relaxation. Beds are comfy. Furnishings are to a high standard. The breakfast hearty. Anne as host is just brilliant. Nothing seems to phase her. She is welcoming and knowledgeable; easy to talk to and great with kids. It was only a 2-night stop-over of convenience for us this time but we’d gladly go back on a proper break. Meal tip: If you’re coming in off the M6, the Fox & Hounds (a few minutes in the opposite direction to Holmes Chapel) was a superb find. Perfect for couples or families. Wonderful food and environment.
Can't fault this place. It's been on my 'bucket list' to stay on a farm in a b&b and this has not only been achieved but was very pleasant too. I was warmly welcomed by the owner and given a good explanation of things I may need. The room itself was very high spec and homely too. There are a wide range of breakfast options on offer and I had the cooked breakfast which was just perfect too. You won't be disappointed. Definitely worth a visit and I hope to visit again.
