Called in for Sunday lunch following returning from shopping trip in Manchester. The food was fine - had Sunday roast diner. The restaurant area was booked for a private function so we sat in a dining area under the conservatory area. It was a little cold in that area and children from the party were going outside to play so...

This is the most helpful and friendly hotel we have stayed at. Nothing appears too much trouble We highly recommend and have returned several times. The breakfasts are better than many 5 star hotels. The location of this small hotel is very convenient, close to the M6 junction 18. The bar is super. It is nice to stay in a...

My room at the front of the hotel suffered from road noise, but was clean and comfortable. The bathroom disappointed slightly with an electric shower that was none too powerful and the side panel for the bath was falling off. Staff were excellent however and very welcoming, Breakfast also very good. I would stay here again as value for money...

We attended a wedding reception here and stayed overnight. All the food was superb at the wedding. Our room was large with a clean spacious en suite too. Breakfast choices in the morning were vast and the food was great quality. All the staff were polite, friendly and helpful. We would stay again.

Spent one night here before renting a Narrow boat for a week. Interesting little hotel that seems to be family-run. You enter through the bar/restaurant which was a little confusing--but we don't normally stay in smaller inns, so maybe this is "normal". We were taken right upstairs to our room--a nice twin with plenty of light. Modern bathroom with all...

Great place to stay in Middlewich. We stayed here to move our daughter into rented accommodation. This hotel is much better than many places I stay for work which are chain hotels. We will definitely stay here again.

We arrived late night sat. 23rd July after a long but enjoyable day at the Blue Dot festival @ Jodrel bank. The manager ( Carol) was waiting for us and indeed called us just before we pulled in to check on our progress. The welcome was warm and after a quick check in a cold pint was very refreshing. The...

After much delegation, the Kinderton won the vote for the destination for the afternoons antics. Which was soon much to my disgust, though, due to the fact that a friend of mine had contacted me regarding the repulsive behaviour of one of the members of staff. Reluctantly, I stomped to the venue. Incredible service from the moment I walked through...
