Perfect location, in beautiful country side. We stayed for 3 nights whilst visiting carfest north.
Anne was very warm and welcoming and gave us a tour of Ashbrook towers, the rooms were spotless and very well appointed, the beds were very comfortable and we had a lovely en-suite.
The breakfasts were outstanding with local bacon, sauages, and all the trimmings there was a good selection of cereal, friuts, yougarts, fruit juice followed by toast. will re book for next yrs carfest highly recommended

We stayed for a night in the Edwardian Suite after attending a wedding nearby. Anne was a wonderful host, very helpful with information about location before our stay and even gave us a lift back to collect our car the following day! Our suite was amazing, so much nicer than a room at any hotel and probably half the price! It was very spacious and luxurious, we only wish we were staying longer. For breakfast we had lovely fruit, freshly baked croissants and a full English...just what we needed to start the day! We wouldn't hesitate to stay again maybe two nights next time, and we'll definitely reccommend it to our friends!

I would echo what all other reviewers have said about the quality of the hospitality, food, furnishing and cleanliness of the rooms. There was, however, a quirkiness that took us aback slightly. Be sure that your socks and tights have no holes in the feet - for on arrival you are asked to remove your footwear before moving around the guest quarters. My wife was provided with complimentary slippers but I was not. Truthfully, the chilly room was partly our own fault - we were told to ask if we wanted the timing of the central heating changed, but after hearing that the cost of fuel oil had doubled in 12 months my wife was reluctant to let me ask. It took some time for the free-standing electric heater to make the Edwardian room comfortable. I was dumbfounded when, during breakfast one morning, the single room heater was turned down and finally off. The room you could be sure to be warm and cosy in was the guest lounge, where the wood-burning stove provided a cheery glow. We were always asked about the time of our return from trips so that the fire could be lit in time. Breakfasts were a belly-busting affair - you could eat your way through a selection of cereals, fresh fruit, croissants, toast and a cooked breakfast comprising of mushrooms, baked beans, tomato, hash browns, sausage, egg and bacon. Having travelled extensively at home and abroad I would say that our hosts were the friendliest and most helpfull I have met. A lovely couple with an easy manner that left you feeling like family guests rather than paying customers (This makes me feel more than a little guilty about the critical side of my review).

Ashbrook Towers Farm is an ideal choice for anyone looking to relax and unwind in comfortable and elegant surroundings. The farm is set back from the road which affords the property a quiet and tranquil air. Guest rooms are to be found in the coachouse and are quite separate from the owners living accommodation, ensuring that both guests and owners enjoy a good deal of privacy. The ground floor of the coachouse has an incredibly spacious and extremely comfortable private guests lounge complete with a glorious log burning fire. The ground floor also has a dining room where an excellent breakfast is served each morning and a wonderful games room with a full sized pool table finished in beautiful blue baize. During our stay we were fortunate enough to be the only guests staying at the farm and we truly loved having the entire coachouse to ourselves! Ashbrook Towers has 2 guest bedrooms and a guest suite which are to be found on the first floor of the coachouse. Each room is beautifully decorated and finished to the highest standard. My wife and I chose to stay in the Edwardian Suite and were not disappointed! The suite has every comfort and facility that you could ask for and we felt very at home during our 3 night stay. The warm welcome that Anne, the proprietor, extends to her guests reinforces the feeling of being in a place that is a 'home away from home'. We found Ashbrook Towers Farm to be a fantastic place to stay and spent a glorious weekend exploring the wonderful heritage of the region and the beauty of the surrounding countryside.

Stayed on my own to sort family business. Having read the reviews I had great expectations and these were handsomely met. The warm welcome from Anne on the door was followed by a tour of the lovely facilities. There is a gorgeous lounge with massive sofas and a warming log burner. The Edwardian room was superb. Bed perfect for a restful night and the bathroom is luxurious. The addition of toothbrushes and other toiletries which may have been forgotten demonstrated a lovely attention to detail. Topping it all was the breakfast. Fresh fruit. Cereals. Warm fresh croissant followed by full English with toast and fresh coffee. I have stayed at some lovely places, most notably the Old Rectory at Lavenham, and Ashbrook Towers is easily a match for the best of them. I asked if the decor was new as it was so well kept. I could not fault any aspect of Ashbrook Towers and it fully deserves its top quality rating. Perfect for an escape to the countryside.

My husband and our son stayed in this top notch B&B for one night. We stayed in the Edwardian which has a superb Jacuzzi bath and he stayed in the twin room. This has to be without doubt the most fantastic B&B in the UK. The ambience was superb. So much attention has been paid to detail in the converting of this wonderful barn accommodation. Comfort and space being the key. The breakfast was gargantuan and delicious. Anne is the perfect hostess and we would visit again in a heartbeat.

My wife and I have travelled extensively, both in the UK and overseas and have stayed in very many hotels and B&B's. Ashbrook Towers Farm is un ique. The quality of the accommodation, the wonderful food and the welcome from Anne make for a truly individual and very pleasant experience. Nothing has been spared to make every bedroom and the guest relaxation areas of premier standard. How many B&B's have a full size snooker table for the use of their guests? We left this idyllic corner of England with great reluctance and the hope that it would not be too long before we would be able to visit again. If this were a hotel it would be rated at least 5 stars.

30 minutes south of Manchester is Ashbrook Towers Farm, quite simply the best B&B you will ever have the pleasure of staying at!

I am in the luxury travel industry, a female exec. who travels the length and breadth of the UK. I make it my mission to truffle, little country retreats that tick all my: safety, parking, tranquility, privacy, cleanliness, space, comfort and value for money; boxes.

If the B&B is in acres of picturesque and verdent, wooly sheep-filled fields and is accessed by a tree-lined lane, I am pleased.

If it my accommodations for the night are a lovingly restored, period Coach House with massive, beam exposed suites, good fixtures, solid oak furnishings, comfy beds, crisp white and quality linens, fluffy scented towels and a corner jacuzzi bath, at £60 pppn, I am well impressed!

The owner, Anne Jones is an attentive and unobtrusive hostess who is genuinely concerned about your needs and comfort; and cooks a fresh, full English breakfast to perfection and serves it on pretty Royal Albert crockery, I believe it simply can't get any better than this? It did!

I spent most of the evening in the spacious guest lounge on a deep, weathered-leather lounge suite, warmed by the cosy heat radiating from a chimney and entertained by multiple SKY channels on a vast, 2 meter HD TV.

On a business trip... but felt like I had died and gone to heaven!
