We visited the restaurant with a small group on Tuesday the 8th September and would highly recommend this restaurant. The staff were efficient, friendly and could not have done more to help us. When one of our group caused confusion over my choice of wine, without being asked the waitress brought some taster glasses so I could decide. Lovely food and at a great price too. Thank you so much everyone!

Enjoyed a family get together at the crown hotel restaurant, well spaced out and great service and food as always. No hesitation in recommending if you want to have a good evening out in the centre of nantwich.

My wife and 3 young daughters and I went for lunch and it took an hour to get our first course and 2-1/2 hrs to wrap-up. We weren’t looked after, We had to ask for more drinks. Food okay, order roasties, boiled came, told no cordial for kids. Mains were good but desert poor, no money off bill. Won’t be going back.

Lovely overnight stay and the building is amazing. We are in the bar and grill and the food was fab. However the best thing about this hotel and restaurant is the staff they are so helpful. From check in to check out the team were responsive and focused on great customer care. Thank you we will be back

So our stay was a last minute event after a bit of a crisis whilst away somewhere else, so we were very grateful for being accommodated so last minute. Thrilled that the place was dog friendly as we had our 2 pups with us. The hotel is located right in the middle of Nantwich and meters from a lovely park to walk the dogs. The staff were friendly and the food was fantastic too as we ate in the bar on the second night. Now for the negatives, we were in a triple room that had three single beds, safe to say the mattress have not been replaced in a very long time. Having worked in the hotel industry for over 20 years it is always recommended to change your mattress 5 to 8 years. I appreciate that comfort is a subjective matter but when you can feel individual springs through a mattress it is definitely time for a change. Pillows also most definitely needed updating also, they were flat and smelt damp/floisty. Bed bases creaked worse than my joints in the morning! The building is old and has amazing character and updating a place such as that will be a big job but please look at doing something with the shower. A shower head over the bath with mixer taps that takes 10 minutes to find the right balance so our 5 year old didn’t scold her skin or was freezing was a tedious process. These things can be avoided however what can’t be avoided is that the hotel has old single glazed windows and as much as Nantwich is lovely by day..... by night you are in the prime position for all the passing people having a lovely time on a night out as there is a club to the rear of the hotel. And the entrance to the hotel is in the alley that connects the front street to said night club in the car park. Totally unavoidable but do not recommend on a Thursday/Friday/Saturday night especially with a young family and dogs. The noise was awful and didn’t help that there was a massive brawl just outside also. Shout out to Katherine (sorry if it isn’t spelt like that) in the bar and to the night poster rescuing us with a fan due to the heat.
