Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It was a lovely comfortable room and everything I needed for a weekend away visiting friends. TV was a bit confusing and I had to pay for upgraded Wi-Fi as the standard free stuff is useless but otherwise no complaints.

Quite honestly one of the best Premier Inns we have stayed in and believe us we have stayed in a fair few. The service is second to none. From check in to check out, the staff are on hand for every little thing. This will be a home from home for the next few weeks maybe months so thank you

Hotel was great as premier inns are. Brewers fayre attached to hotel were unwelcoming, finished serving food earlier than advertised. Booked for breakfast with hotel staff at 10:30am to be told breakfast had finished. Had to be insistent that they allowed us to eat but felt very rushed and unwelcome.

The rooms were very comfy, clean and spacious. Staff were helpful and the breakfast was tasty and filling. There's also plenty to do in the nearby area. For the price and what's nearby this is a very good premier inn and for anyone coming to the area I would reccomend it.

Stay in Premier Inn Widnes 25th -30th January 2024. We was visiting family and friends as we now live in Spain. The hotel was a great price for 5 nights. The room was large and had everything we needed. The staff were all very friendly. We couldn't ask for anything more. We will definitely stay there again next time.

Received an amazing welcome from Adeeba who recognised us from a previous visit. She certainly does go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. Both her and her colleague Claire are an asset to the company. As always couldn't fault anything about the room. Will certainly be back.

Some front of house staff rude about other customers. The main issue, no drinks can be ordered after 9.30 at bar and everyone has to leave by 10pm. We were booked at the hotel for two weeks. The food was good, just a spoilt by 1 or 2 members of staff who were loud and complained about other customers and locals. Also really annoying when they start vacuuming in restaurant whilst customers are still there. It could be done at 10pm when they have cut everyone's evening short!

We’ve just had another great stay at the Premier Inn Widnes. Staff are always so helpful, and the room was spotless. We want to give a special mention to Ellie for her thoughtfulness and consideration during our stay. Looking forward to the next trip.

We love staying at the Premier Inn Widnes. Everyone is so friendly and honestly, nothing is too much trouble. Our latest stay was just over the Christmas period and we wanted to say a special thanks to Ellie on reception, thanks for replenishing our essentials Ellie, and for the special treat - we really appreciated that! See you all again very soon.
