After setting off in the eye of storm Doris we were looking forward to a relaxing short break at a hotel we had stayed with previously. The room(s) we were given was an upgrade and also recently refurbished and simply could not be faulted in any way.Everything worked, the views were panoramic and the suite very spacious. We took complimentary tea...

Had a ploughman's lunch and the food was really good very large helping staff were helpful but could be with smiling more saying that still polite and pleasant. Area was clean and bright. Seemed popular with walkers and allows dogs. I would have preferred dogs being kept away from the eating areas .

We recently stopped here for a couple of hot drinks before a walk nearby. The hotel has obviously been recently refurbished as the place smells of fresh paint, and everything is clean and well maintained. I'd be interested in seeing the rooms, but in this instance we just stopped in the bar. We had a hot chocolate and a coffee,...

We arrived unexpectedly at The Ladore Falls Hotel, after a long hike. Despite its imposing looks, we could see that walkers were welcome to come in and eat in the bar area. Many had removed their boots and we saw this as a very tolerant and friendly sign, so we removed ours too. My 18 year old son is an...

Dear 'Roisin O', Thank you for taking the time to review your recent visit to our newly refurbished hotel. Firstly let me apologise for the lack of vegan options available on our bar menu, it is something that we are currently working on, and intend to have more vegan options in the near future. Our bar does normally stock soya...

A good standard with a homely feel was awaiting us when we arrived after our journey from Northamptonshire, a charming room with a good bathroom and a good quality bed. We had managed to get ourselves a good deal for this long weekend inclusive of afternoon tea, dinner, bed & breakfast and we were not disappointed one bit - the...
