No faults to be found here! A great campsite with all the amenities that you need. Martyn & Sarah are very friendly and super helpful. We'll be back again - so no-one else take any notice of this review - we want to keep it to ourselves!

Stayed in the pods for 2 nights and they were £45 a night. Ideal if you want to walk up scafell, about 50 mins away. Showers and the shop on site are both great and there are a few little pubs close too. Little tip for the owners (if you are reading), The generator is loud of an early Morning...

While I don't have a vast experience of campsites around the country, it is simply impossible to find fault with this one. Exemplary and friendly people run the place, always happy to help. Showers - always (see always) hot water. Very clean. Toilets - always clean. Plenty of sinks to wash up. Drying room. Washing room. Lots of space. Quiet....

My husband and I have been going to this campsite for over 10 years now and as ever the site and its owners Martyn and Sara have ensured we have had another excellent holiday. From ringing up to make our booking and being greeted like old friends, to the friendly goodbyes, we have never been made to feel anything but...

Stayed for 2 nights last weekend. When we arrived it was throwing it down but we were directed to a spot that wasn't flooding and was helped with the ground sheet and electric hook up. Another camper came to help us too. The toilets were spotless, the best I've seen yet. The showers were lovely and warm with great pressure....

The first set of problems occurred when I booked. Firstly it wasn't clear that there are NO BEDS in the pods. I have stayed in two other sets of pods around the country so was expecting at least beds. When I spoke to the guy, and suggested he should help warn his customers by putting photos of the insides of...

Reviewed and not on site...how can that work ? Our camping pods are empty and always will be. Setting off from London at 6pm on a Friday. When you rang I was trying to help your group. Sorry you feel this way. As I always say can't please all.

Despite arriving a little early for check in, after a thrilling crossing of the Hardknott Pass, we were immediately made welcome. We saw how hard Martyn and Sarah worked - Martyn did everything almost at a trot ! Everywhere was immaculate, at all hours of the day. The shop held a good supply of various goods, the showers were hot,...

We stayed in the Pods for 2 nights in April 2016, for our family trip to climb Scafell Pike. The owners of the site were so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, and gave us useful information in preparation for our climb. Our party had 4 pods, and we were accommodated in an area all together. The pods were clean, warm and...

We stumbled across this place trying to find a place to stay before trekking up scaffell pike. And we arrived at approx 7.00am. When gates opened. Lovely lady was very welcoming and we were set up within the hour (I would not advise doing this though as apparently they do get very busy ). Nice shop with all your needs,...
