    The picture you took of the Croque Monsieur certainly does it justice.....I just wish I could have sat down and enjoyed eating it too! Chef certainly knows how to reward the hungry fell-walker or the thirsty traveller....come back soon and try our Pain Beignet!

    We seem to be enticing hungry and thirsty bikers and cyclists with our delicious coffee and cakes.....pop in anytime! We're open 5 days from Monday2nd October and our new chef arrives this week.....that just means one thing......more delicious food!

    Have visited the High Cross many times over the years in its previous guises & stayed here a few times. Called in this year having been to Broughton show, walked in to what used to be a quite dark interior(but in keeping with the building)...More

    Yes dogs are allowed to stay at the High Cross Inn, as when we stayed the people who were also staying there had 2 lurchers. Please be aware that you will only be able to stay in certain rooms when booking with dogs. Hope... More
