Great location, wonderful and friendly staff. Restaurant served wonderful food and the beer was decent. Close to Wast water and scafell pike and only half hour from Keswick. What more could you want? The kids liked it too 😂

We received a really warm welcome and were reassured to see all Covid measures in place. The roast beef dinner was excellent. A generous portion with plenty of fresh veg. The vegetarian choice of spinach and ricotta pasta was lovely too and was in a rich tomato sauce. Sun was out and we enjoyed eating outside. Dogs welcome too

My friend and I spent two nights at the hotel last weekend 25th September. The hotel is around 25 minutes drive from Skafell Pike and so is in a great location. There is loads of parking. The breakfast was fantastic, a full English in any version. The meals in the restaurant were also amazing I cannot recommend the Thai soup enough, it was the best soup I have ever eaten!!! They are managing the hotel well given the current Covid-19 conditions. We felt safe and spaced well from staff who all wore masks which was reassuring. Big thanks to the staff who were busy but did an amazing job 👏 🙌 😀
