My friend and I stayed at the Newby Bridge Hotel for 2 nights, our stay was very good value for money and we had a very pleasant stay. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming, the bar manager was very helpful throughout our stay. The hotel was clean and all meals were lovely, our twin room was spacious and...

We were looking for a hotel that would take a group with four sets of different family members - one with dogs and a disabled adult, two sets of couples, and one family of 4! We visited in January, when it wasn't fully booked (which was nice), but certainly all 'up & running'. All the rooms were extremely good and...

We visited between January 3rd to 5th (Sat to Mon) on the recommendation of friends who had stayed before. I had booked for my wife and I back in September and decided to pay the full balance there and then of £188 which was for two nights bed and breakfast and a three course meal on one of the nights...

Thanks for your nice, thorough review and for staying with us. I've noted your helpful feedback about your breakfast with us, obviously not what should have happened at all. Otherwise I'm happy to read your comments about your stay, especially about our staff and your dinner with us. The fact that you are happy to return makes us happy too!...

My wife and I took 2 dogs ( rough collie crosses) away for the weekend. Stayed in ground floor room with access to rear garden. Room a little tied in décor particularly the bathroom. Restaurant food very good though. Breakfast a little disappointed as the bacon was pre cooked and left to dry out - hard to cut and cardboard...

Thanks for visiting and posting your nice and helpful review. We're pleased you were able to bring your dogs along and that they even enjoyed the bacon (we have noted your feedback on that, so thank you). Normally our breakfast is top-notch quality, like our other food offerings, and I'm sorry it wasn't for your stay. I'm sure we'll be...

I booked in early evening 9th January. The room was booked as a single room but with the comfort of a double room (room No 5). The room was nice, well presented and with modern en-suite facilities. The shower head was in a fixed position and was a little bit low (I am 5'10") but apart from that it was...

We had a fantastic break at Newby Bridge between Christmas and New Year, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay – we will definitely be returning! Brilliant location. We had a nice room with a four poster bed and a view of the lake. The food was spectacular, and we enjoyed the ability to sit in the bar with our dog, playing...

Stayed with friends on a 3 night New Year break. Food was exceptional and above the 3 star standard of the hotel and the head chef was praised accordingly. Room was fine and newly refurbished and our dog was very comfortable. Bar was welcoming with good beers open fire and dog friendly. Lounge was great with comfy sofas and open...
