The wonderful hostess Jane welcomed us and we felt at home straight away. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast was very delicious. Jane gave us lots of useful information about where to visit and was always willing to help. We will definitely go back.

Hill Crest was recommended to us for a 3 night break. From the moment you arrive to be welcomed with tea and scones you realise this is not a guest house. It's a home from home, with service you'd expect from an upmarket hotel. Jane has a wealth of experience in the hotel trade and it shows. The choice of breakfasts and the quality of the food would put many 4/5star places to shame. The extra touches that enhance the rooms sets it apart and nothing is too much trouble to make your stay memorable. As well as your room you have access to a lovely TV lounge and conservatory with fantastic views. If you're thinking of staying here-Stop thinking- just go. You won't be disappointed.

From first meeting Jane this stay was excellent in every way!!! The Tea & Scones on arrival were great the room very comfortable & spotlesly clean with a lovely shower & a spacious & comfortable guests lounge to relax in oh the bed was very comfortable. The choices at breakfast were varied & well cooked. Jane loved going the extra yard for her guests. We cant wait to return, Jane richly deserves all the great reviews!!!!

From start to finish this was an amazing 3 nights stay in the most beautiful surroundings. Jane is a magnificent host and most knowledgable about the places to visit and enjoy. Definitely take advantage of her guidance, you won't regret it. She is very attentive and hospitable and genuinely enjoys engaging with everyone and being most helpful. Our room was very spacious beautifully decorated, the bathroom was spotless and contemporary. The breakfast was amazing to wake up to. overall if I could give double the number of stars I would. We are looking forward to returning in the future
