Superb location and amazing countryside view from all rooms. Crookabeck was warm and welcoming and very clean. Owner was very attentive and welcoming. Excellent cooked breakfasts and overall our stay was excellent. Nothing to criticise. If had been staying longer would have welcomed some fresh raspberries, strawberries or blueberries etc and natural ( unsweetened ) yoghurt.

Fantastic weekend away staying at the stunning Crookabeck B & B. This hideaway was home from home. Adam was really helpful with information on walks and surrounding area. Breakfast was a treat and Adam made us a packed lunch which we ate at the top of a mountain overlooking Ullswater. I would definitely recommend Crookabeck B & B as a...

This was our 2nd time at Crookabeck and it was as great as we remembered. We had the Placefell Room with a king bed and a large bathroom. The B&B also has a large lounge for the guests and since there's only one other room you usually have the lounge to yourself. Adam and Charlene have created a special place...

Crookabeck Farm B& B offers 2 comfy rooms, both en-suite for guests, + a comfortable lounge/breakfast room that is open 24/7. We watched the Olympics on the large screen TV in the lounge as we stretched after a day of hiking in the Lake District. We enjoyed hot showers & superb breakfast. In the morning we admired the beautiful, long...

What an amazing hidden away gem of a place. I stayed here with my bridesmaids the night before my wedding at the Inn on the Lake. We treated ourselves to massages with Hazel in the cottage next door. Adam our host was fantastic. He couldn't do enough to help, and makes the most amazing breakfast. The free wifi proved very...

This is a gem of a B&B set on Crookabeck farm - a working sheep farm so there are Herdwick sheep bleating in the background and a few Angora goats to admire. We were able to help feed the lambs which was one of the highlights of our holiday! There is a gorgeous little wool shop on the farm to...

Stayed here as a couple, we needed somewhere to stay after a wedding in Glenridding and I am so happy we found Crookabeck! The room was lovely and fantastic scenic views from our window. I loved seeing the herdwick sheep outside and buying a ball of their wool from the wool shop on the farm! I wish we could have...

Absolutely brilliant, Adam is a brilliant host, helpful and eager to please without being over attentive, location is truly stunning and the rooms were amazing. Lounge room with tv and sky is handy if you find yourself with nothing to do, (which is unlikely in this area) facilities are perfect with a lovely little shower room in the twin 'Helvellyn'...
