came here for wedding, lovely area and nice grounds. very small interior however and I felt it was too small for the amount of people it needed to accomodate. Wedding was beautiful, not to keen on dinner - buffet style but was quite limiting. thankfully had brought snacks to nibble on in room. drinks expensive, staff friendly

After receiving a wedding invitation to a (an important family) wedding to be held at Broadoaks, we at first had some misgivings. There were some doubts from the hotel's literature about whether we would be able to access our room for the night of the wedding day in order to be able to change for the ceremony, and therefore we...

Stunning countryside venue. Wedding was of course great. Ours was last table served buffet - they'd run out of food options. Paid £300 to stay the night as a guest, seriously nothing special and woke up freezing cold on a morning with zero temperature. Went to breakfast, no option for vegetarian listed. Only found out later but by then too...

Attended a friends wedding here. Broadoaks is a Lovely quaint venue with gorgeous sweeping views and beautifully manicured gardens. Just a short drive to the lake and town centre in a delightful part of the country.

We were invited to this amazing hotel for a wedding. On arrival we were shown to our double room. The en suite room contained a Jacuzzi bath. We later had drinks and meet friends in the cosy lounge with coal fire. The wedding meal was exceptional. If anyone is thinking of hiring this place for their wedding we do strongly...

Booked through Groupon, deal included a luxury room with cream tea on arrival, 4 course dinner and breakfast. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive throughout, the room was lovely and the food was to die for. We had the pleasure of meeting co-owners Tracey and Jo in the music room whilst waiting...

Our friends had their wedding at Broadoaks this weekend; what an exceptional venue. From start to finish everything was perfect. The actual ceremony, the perfect wedding breakfast to the evening "do". The happy couple and their family were staying at Broadoaks too-they were in The Retreat which we were all lucky to have a quick look round.

Weve never stayed at Broadoaks before. It was our first time but we dont think it will be our last. We arrived to afternoon tea with bubbles...my goodness one between us would have been plenty. So we decided to get a tax into Bowness. Tried the Albert Pub (meals looked fab especially roast dinners) then we had a shop and...

Loved our visit here, can't wait to return! We had afternoon tea and it was such good value for money, there was every cake you could want, and had a twist on your usual afternoon. Even had a mini cheesecake on! Everything was delicious and the staff were really friendly. Excited for our next visit already!
