After walking into the Covid Den across the road The Cross Keys, this pub was such a refreshing change. Very clean & tidy, polite staff & strict covid rules applies. Mask's have to be worn, social distancing & you have to order food, which I will say is some of the best home cooked food I have ever had. Hats off to you guys keep up the good work.

Came in for dinner 6th October. Dinner for 2 plus our dog. They reserved a table near the roaring fire, fabulous after a day of walking. Staff very good re Covid, wearing masks, cleaning etc. Very friendly. I had chicken with Stilton, bacon and white wine sauce, delicious! My partner had steak pie again very nice. Would recommend. Good prices too!

Had a lovely 2 night stay here. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, nothing was to much trouble. The room for 3 people was excellent, very spacious and clean and had everything we needed. The third bed was separated off and had its own television, which gave our son his own privacy. The breakfast and evenings meals were lovely and we had a great choice. Would definitely recommend staying here and we hope to return.
