    * 5 star service from owners and staff * Exceptional full english breakfast * Comfy bed * Great location (5 mile from Scafell Pike) * Excellent real ales * Great experience * Would definitely recommend and go back!

    Great weekend - lovely staff, cracking food, good beer, open fires, fabulous area. What more do you want? Wasdale and Eskdale right on the door step and numerous walks etc to have a go at. Thanks to all the Strands Inn staff. Chris and Kate...More

    Glad we stumbled upon this place and had a great lunch! The waiters are amiable and the service is remarkably fast for what is offered. Their Sunday special lamb is incredible. This is a must visit when travelling to Wastwater!
