My husband & I stayed here for 2 nights over the New Year period and we weren't ready for going home. It's lovely to find a place that allows pets as we took our dog and was made very welcome. This B & B has a lot of character, it's very warm & welcoming as Anne was when we arrived....

I have stayed at this cottage once before and could not wait to get back to it. Situated in an idyllic spot, perfect for peace and quie Not far from Hawkshead and Grisedale forest. The owners are Anne and Dave, such a lovely couple, who cannot do enough for you. The place is spotlessly clean with little quirky touches all...

A warm welcome will be received. The farm is situated in a secluded quiet part of the Lake District detached from direct tourism. Base yourself here to enjoy the Lakes at their best. We enjoyed a fabulous walk from the farm itself but, if you want to travel, Hawkshead and Coniston are not far away. The nearest pub is 3...

Anne and David were such lovely hosts, nothing is too much trouble. The Farm is quiet and laid back - the perfect getaway. We took our bouncy 20 month old cockerpoo with us and we were all made very welcome. The breakfasts are exactly as all the reviews; just delicious. Home from home, we hope to be back soon.

Well we have just come home from a great weekend in the Lakes. We stopped at Crosslands Farm having found it on TA. What a lovely quite friendly place. From our first moment of being met at the door by Ann we knew we have picked correctly. The accommodation, food, friendliness everything about the place oozed tranquillity. The other guests...

This B&B is in the most beautiful, peaceful setting, with views over the fields and hills. The B&B itself is a real gem - a characterful, homely cottage. Our bedroom was lovely, with a huge ensuite bathroom. It was just perfect to have a soak in the bath after a long day out. The room was well equipped with tea/coffee/hot...
