I have dined here regularly over the last 2 years and have enjoyed the meals provided, however, our last two visits have not been anywhere near those standards. The meals haven't been as well cooked and the portions, particularly with the mixed grill have declined in size. This is such a pity as I do like the venue and it's...

If I had written this after 3 nights my review would have been My room was clean, the shower worked, the telly worked and I slept well. Plenty of tea and coffee. There was no wardrobe but a wall attachment to hand clothes up (lots of hangers) and I think two people would struggle with drawer space. The wifi wasn't...

Well the food was good pub food, no problems there. The table mats all broke, electric socket broke just waiting for little fingers, dead flowers, chairs falling apart underneath and dirty skirting boards with dusty floor. Won't be visiting again shame!

My husband and I went in for a meal last night and my husband had the mixed grill with chips and in the chips was a long hair which he had to pull out of his mouth. Told two of the waitresses and they just said 'oh I'm sorry' where as they should have got someone higher up to come...

We booked two nights, it's a nice quiet place outside of Ashbourne. Ideal as a base for walking. The room was on the small side but perfectly adequate for us. The free wifi was helpful. The breakfast was okay, not the best I've had, a little too greasy for me, but a very large substantial english breakfast. Overall though I...

We have stayed in places that think that they are a higher ranking than they are, but this one is the reverse. It is not pretentious in any way yet has the wonderful qualities of kindness, and helpfulness with a wonderful helping of smiles from everyone. Beautifully clean, wonderful food and fabulous views all around the place. Were so happy...
