Just home from a 2 night stay in the Damson Pod. What a break! This place is an absolute gem. So peaceful and out of the way. The pods and surrounding areas are superbly laid out with every amenity imaginable. The fridge holds a lot more than we expected it would, which was brill. The bathrooms are immaculate and again, everything you could ask for. The info room is a brilliant idea and was excellent to get a bbq kit from there rather than have to drive off the site to a shop. The view from the pod was stunning, watching the lake (Carsington Water) change from misty in the morning, to blue, to glass-like reflecting the trees was amazing to see throughout the day. It is so quiet all around and at night we heard an owl which was amazing. The stars were phenomenal to see at night as well, away from the light pollution. The bed was really comfy and we slept well. The seating options outside the pod were fab, picnic bench and sun loungers allowed for really comfy reading/crochet times. Having a fire pit AND a BBQ was a really lovely touch and having drinking water by the pod was brill. This is such a well thought out glamping site and we are really glad we found it. We will definitely be back to stay again, maybe a bit longer and explore some of the walks from the pods themselves. Thank you for a really restful break. Vic and Em

I am not affiliated to this place, just love it. I have now had two ‘glamping’ holidays in these pods with family and, this time, on my own with my dog. I can’t speak highly enough of the location, the views, the pods clean/cleverly equipped/warm, the outdoor decking areas, the bathrooms, the privacy, the overall set up and the absolute peace and quiet. (Two out of three pods welcome up to two dogs.) There are walks straight from the site and the Peak District is on the door step. What’s not to like!

My 11yr old son & I have just returned from 3 wonderful nights in the Damson Pod. We had everything we needed and more! I received a comprehensive welcome pack in advance (directions, what you need to bring, what your pod includes, local places to eat etc) The site has the most stunning views, it was immaculate & beautifully set out. Fantastic facilities & the bathrooms are like being in your own home. We had mixed weather during our stay but that didn’t stop us getting out exploring the beautiful Peak District (abseiling, cycled the Tissington Trail, kayaking at Carsington Water, The Heights of Abraham, Chatsworth House, we even visited the cinema when the rain was bad) We used the recommendations from our welcome pack and ordered a takeaway from Anaya’s one evening, it was delicious and they delivered! We also ate at the The Bowling Green which was a short drive from the pods where we had a fantastic meal. I would highly recommend Mulino Pods & will definitely be looking to stay again.

Staying at Mulino Pod (Lavender Pod) with my family & our dog. The pod is clean & has everything you need. There is shared bathroom and cooking area. The view from our pod is amazing. It’s in the middle of nowhere - so it’s nice and peaceful (except for sheep baaa-ing) Will definitely come again.
