It's the little things that turn a good experience into a great one, like being greeted with a cup of tea after a day in the peak, and real milk for coffee in the guest rooms. John and Joan were so welcoming and friendly which was a delight. Free wifi, a hearty breakfast and to think this was the cheapest... More

We stayed for just one night as we were going to a party locally. John and Joan were really friendly and welcoming. Greeting us with a cup of tea and a juice. The room was comfortable and having a shared bathroom wasn't a problem at all! Little touches like a jug of fresh milk in a guest fridge for making... More

I stayed only one night, but had a very nice experience at the Old Post Office. The bed was comfortable and everyone had a great sleep. The owners were friendly and very helpful with suggestions for local food and walking options. Breakfast was excellent and kept everyone full until dinner. It was a perfect stay.

Me and my partner stopped over night and from the moment we knocked on the door til we left the next morning we was welcomed by john and Joan. Lovely pot of tea and coffee was presented as soon as we came in the door. Clean cooked breakfast in the morning with tea coffee juice and yoghurts and cereal. I... More

From walking in the front door we felt completely relaxed and at home with Joan & John's great hospitality. The room was great - had everything we needed and more. The bathroom was huge and immaculately clean, with a brilliant shower. The walls are really thick so no need to worry about other people's noise disturbing you at all. The... More

After arriving quite late on a Sunday night, I was warmly greeted with a pot of tea and the hosts really made me feel at home. The bathroom is clean and modern, while the rest of the building has been tastefully updated. The bed was comfortable and the convenient tea/coffee making facilities in the room were a nice touch, especially... More

I was looking for accommodation and this was by a country mile the most reasonable and within my budget. I called after booking online and Joan confirmed they had my reservation. Upon arrival I was warmly greeted and offered tea, coffee or juice - you don't even get that in a Hotel. I was shown to my room after chatting... More

Jean and John were great host and couldn't of been better hosts. As soon as we arrived we were offered refreshments and everything was explained to us. The rooms were cleaned and the shared bathroom was modern and very nice. The breakfast was nice and was plentiful. Overall I would recommend staying with them and hope to be back soon.

Thank Simon S
