Stopped for morning coffee after walk with puppy. We were made very welcome with open fires in a lovely setting. We ordered a coffe and a got chocolate and a scone. They had run out of scones but provided a couple of delicious pastries with clotted cream and jam beautifully

I had the burger and it was so lovely! The chips were chunky and hot. The burger was the meatest burger I have ever eaten. No complaints at all! The fire was on which made the pub so cosy. Would recommend!

Had a lovely meal here with fantastic service! We arrived early but we’re accomodated for quickly and had a great evening. The restaurant was cosy and had a wonderful ambience. Will definitely be returning.

A group of 12 of us visited after a walk and stopped for lunch. We had booked a table but arrived a little earlier and they were able to get us seated earlier. The service was really quick and the food was great! We were able to bring our dogs in too!

Me and my husband have just returned from a visit to Castleton. Out of all the four pubs we went in this is the best as excellent enthusiastic staff. We will definitely be going back for a short stay and will stay in this great pub and sample the food as the menu looked
