This is a quaint little b&b in a great location to reach Glossop's pubs, shops and restaurants. The price is good and the owner is very helpful and accommodating. The lodge itself looked a bit tired in places but was clean. I found my room a bit small to spend a lot of time in but it was only a...

I booked this B&B as I'm an AFC Wimbledon fan who were playing Curzon Ashton in the FA Cup 2nd round in Ashton under Lyne the following day. Having previously stayed here and still being under the same management, I knew I was in good hands. The welcome is good as is the bedroom for thirty pounds a night, although...

Stayed here for one night on 13th July 2016 arrived stressed after busy week was met by Mick and Jill who instantly made us feel incredibly welcome ,even though we had turned up early and had to ring Mick who quickly changed his plans to get to us,we were shown to our room which was spotlessly clean with a huge...

Spent two nights here to go walking and was impressed with the great value. Good breakfast, warm and friendly.Close to the town centre. I was given a double room for the price of a single. Bed was comfortable. Does all the basics well.

Peakdale Lodge is a very good place to stay for a short break. Although the interior is a little tired it is very clean and comfortable. The breakfast provided is excellent and the whole experience was good. Mr Price was a charming host and answered all our questions about the area with good humour!

I had to travel due to a family bereavement but Mike and Jill still managed to make my stay feel like a break. I have stYed in five star hitels with full concierge service where you don't get the personal ser ice you do at Peakdale Lodge. There hospitality kindness goes above and beyond anything I have ever experienced in...

I must say the people that own this place are the most accommodating people I have ever met, I would rather stay in a place like this than a massive hotel where they are less accommodating. Would definitely stay here again if I ever need to come up this end. All the best to the owners, awesome stay xx

Just returned home from peakdale lodge, had a wonderful time, we went for our 10year anniversary and it was better than we could have hoped for, even though it was central to all amenities it was peaceful and quiet, location was lovely, room was clean, spacious and all the little luxuries where there, shampoo, shower gel, towels, tea, coffee, sugar...
