One look decided this was not the place for our relations to stay. Sorry! The bar was very smokey, no food available for B&B, (it was suggested that food could be bought nearby) and rooms extremely basic. Not what we wanted.possibly good for regular travellers.

Was made to feel welcomed very quickly, I stayed in room number 1 which was further away from the rest of the rooms. It was quiet considering the noise outside and I had a very good night sleep. Pleasantly decorated, clean and great shower!

Stopped there last week and the hotel is disgusting. The bed was horrible, the hotel absolutely stinks of mouldy festering dogs. Contemplated sleeping in the van most nights. The place is obviously beyond cleaning hence they don't bother. Wants knocking down. Avoid at all costs. Pitch a tent!

The food was cooked well but disappointed in the small portions placed on the plate didn't feel value for money otherwise good friendly clean pub and friendly staff. Typical countryside pub and lots of parking and disabled friendly.
