Stayed for 4 nights in early November, stayed in room 2. The room is a good size with a huge bed,it has a mini fridge in which Linda the owner puts fresh milk every day, fridge is a good size plenty of room for beer and wine. Bathroom is a bit on the small side but is perfectly ok with...

A most pleasant 2 night stay in Merman Barn - a wonderful comfortable king size bed, spacious room and an available lounge to relax in after enjoying the Peak District. Highly recommended. Try the cheese omelette for breakfast - smashing!

Really enjoyed our visit. Super breakfasts from Linda. Nice room with mini fridge. Good shower. Everything clean and well presented. Would go back. Lovely breakfast room and lounge. Linda and Andrew were both lovely. Tideswell is a super village.

We stayed at Merman Barn for two nights as a base to have a ride around the Peak District. We found the b&b to be ideally placed, just at the top of the village of Tideswell. We had a very comfortable 4 night stay at the Merman Barn. The accommodation is extremely well cared for and Linda maintains a high standard of cleanliness. Constant hot water, a comfortable bed and thoughtful touches like flowers and tea with fresh milk in the room were appreciated. Breakfast is well cooked and well presented. From Linda's hospitality, to the gorgeous bed made by her husband and of course the tasty breakfast made with fresh ingredients, we had a lovely time at this b&b! Absolutely fantastic place, centrally placed in the Peak District with lovely rooms and great food. Ideal for walks and visiting places like Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall. This B&B is immaculate with close to 5 star hotel-like accommodation. Our room was well equipped and there was a comfortable lounge to sit in to relax and/or watch TV. Brilliant hostess providing everything you could wish for. Great breakfast with extensive choice, tea and coffee in bedroom,fridge with fresh milk,lovely area especially for ramblers. What are you waiting for???
