Lovely stay, very relaxed site, on-site shop has everything you needs. The cabins also come with what you need. Really good, bathrooms good, clean and good hot water. The only thing I’d change is an extra pillow, but now I know that I’ll happily take my own.
Great touring site, lovely friendly lady on reception, we have a Motorhome and we were given the option to choose between two pitches which was appreciated. My parents decided to come and stay and booked a beach hut which is in a lovely secret garden, very peaceful and secluded which my parents like. Washroom is very clean and looks like it has recently been refurbished. Will definitely return.
We stayed on the touring overflow field which is where we wanted to be.the pitches are fine although not very level. The problem is with the toilet and shower blocks- they are disgusting. They are old and need replacing. They were very rarely clean in the whole 5 days we were there. We decided to walk to one of the others on the site which was in a worse state. There is a newer block on the seasonal pitch area but there was always a queue for the showers and as someone leaves the shower there is no cleaning or mopping in between. 3 times now at Diglea but never again. Don’t bother paying for wifi as you never get a signal
Position wise, this site is great for Snettisham Beach - 6 mins in the car or a 20 minute walk - and the pitches are mostly flat. Beyond that I'm afraid we were deeply disappointed, to the degree that we cut our holiday short. We were initially sent to the wrong pitch, and when we returned to reception to query it, I was told rather rudely that I was wrong, until I provided my booking email. There was music blasting across the field we were in until 11pm the first night, and loud conversations until almost 2.30am the second night we were there. The pitches are incredibly close together, so finding quiet at night is almost impossible. There were also arrivals late at night. Toilets and showers were generally clean. Small on site shop sells essentials. If you're looking for a nice quiet site to take young children, give this one a miss.…
Lovely campsite, nice dog walk, regularly cleaned toilets although showers could do with some tlc, intermittent hot and floppy shower heads didn’t make showering fun Pitches are reasonable size but some were flooded when it rained which was know about by the staff Play area great -and security on the ball with evicting the children after dark But the most annoying thing (out of the control of the campsite but still….) is the air cannon in the farmers field at the top end of the site that goes off twice every half an hour from 6am until 8.30pm ish Not great when you have an already nervous dog -Would have liked to have been told about Otherwise great location only 10 mins walk to beach and 5 mins to rspb nature reserve that was lovely to walk round
