Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

First visit for 3 years and immediately noticed the changes. New shower/toilet huts, very spacious and clean. Well stocked shop for all the essentials, newspapers, etc. Beautifully peaceful site and would recommend a visit. Very dog friendly. Met some lovely people and really didn't want to go home.

Visited to have a look and find out more. Unfriendly, unhelpful, can't be bothered attitude at reception. You generally wouldn't go back to any business with this as your first experience at point of contact let alone holiday with them. On some positives, walked around and thought location was nice facilities too, where they were located, and huts for showers looked good. I went on to visit Sandringham Caravan Club site. They're were just as disinterested to the point the gentleman barely lifted his head from the keyboard. What has happened to receptions greeting and offering information. It's like getting blood from a stone and whole load of attitude with it. Fed up at this point of people being rude for no reason other than they can I Passed on some friendly feedback.

The stay overall was okay, staff were very friendly and helpful and the campsite was clean and tidy. However the shower facilities were not the ones advertised on the website, which was a bit of a letdown. Although we were told we could use any facilities, I don’t feel it was fair to advertise the most updated ones alone without showing the other facilities as it’s false advertisement.

Great camping site. Very tidy and well organised. Good toilet and shower facilities and close to beach. Very good size measured pitches with electric hook up. Shop and bar on site. Reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend

This place is the pits what a difference a year makes, every part of this park is disgusting and run down, the bar and function room is was filthy, the bar prices change from night to night always up of course. I feel sorry for Tilley who is doing her best but in all honesty unless the park gets investment it won't survive.

Booked on to the touring park ,never again, booked for 2 nights stayed one no welcome on arrival, greeted by a woman rattling off a list of all the things you can't do,despite an only half full field they pitched 5 families next to me in tents no more than a foot between tents the teenagers of the families unloaded what can only be described as a disco speaker, loud music all day ,food unit said open at 5 pm but didn't open, advertised dog friendly beer garden which it was but wouldn't let me in the bar to order a drink even if I carried my small dog,one if the worst sites it has been my misfortune to visit ,the site seems to be more interested in its seasonal pitches and privately owned statics,we on the touring site were looked on as the poor relations.

We are leaving today, so I thought I'd quickly pop on with my review. It's a beautiful camp site, probably one of the better ones we've stayed at. We are in a campervan with driveway awning and stayed on an electric pitch. The toilets/showers are immaculate, we all really liked them. There is a small park opposite our pitch which is nice for children. The only negative thing to say is, our power kept tripping. We didn't mention it to anyone, not sure what they could do about it. We will be back.

I would never stay here again. The website made it look nice. Booked 2 nights camping. Pitches are close together and a sea of tents and caravans. Pitches were dirty with dog poo and rubbish littering the site. Smell of smoking drugs day and night across the site. Bin area over flowing with rubbish. Toilet/shower blocks on the two fields near us were not fit for purpose. Dirty, very basic and falling apart. Children’s play areas broken and again littered with rubbish. This is the worst campsite I have ever stayed at.

We used this as a halfway point to have a weekend away with family, but sadly it is nothing like the pictures on the web site. Oldest toilet blocks we have seen for a long time. Yes there are some very modern ones in the full time pitch area, but the ones for the touring pitches are extremely old “portacabin style” buildings. The tent area looked more like Calais refugee encampment. Disco and live music played loud enough to be heard all over the site on Saturday afternoon. The bar area was taken over by full time or seasonal pitch holders and the food is provided by an outside catering van doing burgers etc. By the previous reviews it obviously suits some people, but we would not recommend or return.

Great 3 night stay here with friends in one of the safari lodges. Great friendly and warm atmosphere everywhere on the site. Tilly and her staff at the club house and entertainment area go out of there way to make you feel welcome. Music all day Saturday . Fantastic little caravan park.
