I wish I could leave a 6 star review! This gorgeous site has now become our happy place and we will definitely be returning. From the booking to our departure everything was perfect. The hosts Sarah and Geoff were lovely, nothing was too much trouble and they had thought of everything to make our stay brilliant. All facilities were clean, everything we needed was provided so just good and personal belongings to bring. The Tipi was so comfy and we even had a shaded seating area which was great as it was very hot weekend. Can’t wait to book again x ******

Such a wonderful experience, 3rd time I've stayed and it gets better every time, so beautiful, so tranquil. I can thoroughly recommend a stay, you will not be disappointed. It's run passionately by the most amazing friendly couple, many thanks for the incredible experience.

This is my 4th time at the big sky tipis and every time I go, I ask my self why I have left it so long! It was another incredible weekend. Sarah and Geoff are so accommodating. The tipis were spotless and we were allocated our own toilet and shower block meaning we didn't need to mix with other groups on the site. We had pre ordered some delicious meat and the home grown bacon was amazing!!! We had booked some bags of wood which we went through quite quick seeing it wasn't the warmest of weekends but it was never a problem when we asked for more bags through out our stay. They kindly provided us with more bedding which was needed and we were all very snug at night. The children had such a good weekend and it was great to go exploring through the woods next to the camp to look at the stunning bluebells. Thank you Geoff and Sarah for helping me have a great birthday get away.…

We stayed a couple of days mid week and had the place to ourselves. The owners were friendly and helpful, and the site was clean and quiet. The site is near several attractions so there was plenty for our small children to do for a day out. We hope to go back again in future.

We stayed in the Swallow tipi for 4 nights. I had my reservations about staying somewhere with shared facilities during a pandemic but everything was kept immaculately clean and you were never too far from a bottle of sanitizing spray. The owners were so friendly and we saw them clean out a couple of our neighbouring tipis and they certainly give them a good scrub in between stays! The tipis are well equipped and cosy, the beds were comfortable as were the outdoor bean bags. It is such a good place to stay with young children (although we would happily have a couple's stay here too!) Our sons loved gathering firewood in the woods, listening to the owls and the sheep at night and checking in on the swallow's nest in the shower block. There is so much to do in the local area that I think we may need to stay a bit longer next time :-)…

We had a great 2-night stay at Big Sky Tipis. We found everything we needed there to cook with and really loved the cosy interior of the tipis. The hosts were very helpful with tips on how to get to the beach/local pubs etc. The toilet block was clean and well maintained. Each tipi has its own barbecue and fire pit area and plenty of space away from other campers - but still a really nice atmosphere with our neighbours.

My wife, my almost 3 year old son and I have just returned from a lovely 3 night break at Big Sky Tipi. It's a well maintained site, with everything you need provided, hot water whenever we wanted and the tipi was fantastic - a lot bigger than we expected. The area is beautiful with woods, fields and farmland in every direction. My son adored it, running around and exploring all day long. We look forward to returning.

I couldn't have hoped for more. A well maintained site surrounded by beautiful countryside with comfortable and well equipped tipis. The hosts were welcoming and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. From the moment I first called to enquire about booking, the communication and information provided were excellent. I will remember this holiday for a long time; it was relaxing and so much fun. Our children (9 and 6) absolutely loved it! Thank you Sarah and Geoff for a great holiday. Charlotte and Perry

Thank you Sarah for a fantastic weekend, I cannot recommend it enough. Would definitely come here again, we came here for a celebration weekend and had the site to ourselves, we were very lucky with the weather, such a lovely chilled relaxing site. The tipis were fab, the beds amazing with diverts and blankets, the toilets and showers lovely and clean. Tip. I would avoid the nearest pub with a farm animal name for somewhere to eat, our group had a very bad experience eating there.
