Just had three nights at this beautiful B&B. I would definitely recommend!! Accommodation: traditional, beautiful and set within a working farm. The house itself has a beautiful garden to the front with pond and barbecue. Our room was spotless and our host Trisha made sure all supplies of towels, tea, coffee, milk, biscuits and chocolates were regularly topped up. Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, the lounge was not accessible but this was completely understandable and indeed shows that Trisha and John were making sure they and we complied as we should. Food: breakfast was served by Trisha every morning (8-9am) in the dining room. There was a lovely selection and choice. All very fresh, tasty and beautifully presented. The eggs, freshly laid on the farm, were especially delicious! Hosts: John and Trisha were lovely and very friendly hosts. We enjoyed many an interesting chat with them at the end of breakfast and when out and about on the farm. Farming requires enormous commitment, knowledge and skill and it was great learning about life on the farm. They have a great heart too for animals and have provided a forever home for a number of lovely horses and ponies. The area: absolutely beautiful. Lots of lovely towns and villages and Trisha will keep you right with regards to places to eat out. The farm itself has its very own fishing lake!! My husband enjoyed 4 hours down at the lake and thoroughly enjoyed it. In summary, if you’re looking for somewhere friendly, beautiful and peaceful to unwind and relax then this is perfect.

My wife and I have just had a last minute one night stay at Low Osgoodby Grange bed and breakfast and can’t praise it enough. Trisha warmly welcomed us on our arrival and showed us to our spacious, well furnished and clean room. The room had lovely views across the fields. Both Trisha and John were very friendly and informative about the farm and it’s history, we even had a guided tour of the lambing barn to see newborn lambs that were only a few hours old. Trisha recommended a local pub to eat and booked us into ‘The Greyhound’ in nearby Bagby (5 mins drive away) and again we were not disappointed, we can highly recommend this place to eat. We were also informed of all local amenities and places of interest. After a quiet, comfy and cosy night we were treated to a hearty and tasty breakfast that was obviously made of good quality ingredients which set us up for the day. A superb bonus for me was the fly fishing lake that was also owned by the farm, so I managed to grab 3.5 hours (and catch a nice rainbow) before we set off home again. A very enjoyable quick stay in a beautiful location with genuinely friendly and lovely people, we will definitely return here for a longer stay next time.

5 of us stayed here for one night during a weekend of walking part of the Cleveland Way National Trail, from Osmotherley to Helmsley. The attention to detail at this B&B was extremely thoughtful and we were made to feel very welcome by John and Trish. We arrived around 6:30pm and John was there to great us. He showed us to our rooms and was kind enough to call a local pub to arrange a table for our evening meal, this was a small touch but very welcomed by us as we were all extremely tired from a day of walking in unpredictable weather. Each room has an en-suite shower room and the towels provided were lovely and soft. Tea and coffee making facilities are available in the rooms and the little treats provided were a great touch (the lemon biscuits were delicious). The farm has a wonderful history and Trish was kind enough to take the time to chat to us about it in-between preparing breakfast, which was delicious and a good source of energy for our day ahead. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be recommending to friends and family, would definitely stay here again. Thank you once more to John and Trish for your hospitality, you are wonderful hosts.

Four of us stayed here for 2 nights in August 2018. Trisha is an unflappable and fantastic host who cooks an absolutely amazing breakfast. The rooms are comfy and there are so many thoughtful touches in the rooms: A teapot so you can make a proper pot of tea, a good selection of teas and coffee, biscuits and chocolate, fluffy towels and comfy beds. We felt very well looked after! We love animals so were delighted to meet the dogs, ponies, horses and sheep in an idyllic rural setting surrounded by pretty gardens. One of the nicest B & Bs we’ve stayed in. We’ll definitely book again next year. Recommended! :)

We only stayed for the one night but after a long day of fishing it was a great place to stay. Great location, close to Thirsk, we had a warm welcome from John and Trish, our room was spacious and well presented with a good en suite. After a shower off for fish & chips at White Horse Cafe (upstairs) in Thirsk then back for a good night's sleep after which we had a great yorkshire breakfast (I asked Trish for some tomato sauce but the truth is I didn't need it as the breakfast tasted great) so that was Eileen and I set up for the day ahead. We would happily recommend this B&B if you're stay is in north yorkshire.
