Moved on from the Saracens to this pub and soon as we walked in found it to be great atmosphere, buzzy & busy, and quite a few small groups of people scatted around the pub. Pub is what you’d expect inside, loads of wood architecture and no plastic in sight. Young girl serving behind the bar was smiling and a...

A lovely dining area with a mix of old and new traditions. Attentive staff and food was very nice, i had the Roast chicken dinner which was very tasty and very good rump steak. Gingerbread cheesecake is definitely worth a try!

Well, where to begin? Manager was rude, room wasn't clean, and it was completely overpriced. Our room was considered 'ensuite' which involved there being a shower plonked in our room... The loo and bath were down the corridor, with no locks and filthy. To enter after 1am it was necessary to climb THROUGH the fire escape into the toilet.. Need...

I often call into in this pub if in Towcester or on my way to Milton Keynes. The staff are great, Sally is a little gem! The food is good honest pub grub, well presented and reasonably priced. My fish and chips tonight was cooked to perfection. They also do a great range of beers, as you expect from a...

Absolutely terrible place to stay I wouldn't let my dog stay there. How can a B &B in this century not have a shower in the room or in a bathroom that you can use they only have a dirty bath 😷 I will never stay here again although the food was good.

“Ask for room 11 (that's the big one!) avoid room 14(that's the tiny one!) and if you don't like salt on your chips, ask for no salt as they come out salted.”

“Ask for one of the few rooms with an en-suite shower. The water trickles like a tap, but is much more preferable to the communal bathroom which has a bath but no shower and seems to only get cleaned once a week.”
