Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

All the waitresses were warm and happy Nothing was to much trouble Food came out quick and was nice and hot Portions a good size Everywhere looked clean and fresh We were also served by a tall guy in a white shirt who could have been the manager again very polite A nice touch as we were leaving was a waitress even said good bye

A great hotel, run very well and the staff are excellent. Dave the Manager is very attentive to all the clients. The rooms are so clean, the breakfast is great and eating here 3 nights in succession I can vouch for the meals and the service. A special thank you to Eve who makes everyone feel so welcome and important. I have stayed here many times in the last few years and the one thing that stands out is the consistency of the cleanliness, service and food. I will be back.

Lush food, massive sunday roastwith a choice of pork, turkey or beef that was cooked to perfection and super attentive service. Don't know how she did it but our server remembered all our orders without writing anything down and that was for 7 people! Lovely coffee and loved the smaller option for pudding.

We stayed here for two nights in two adjoining rooms (2adults 4kids) as we were getting married in Towcester, Having adjoining rooms was super helpful. We hired the snug for a family meal (15 of us) after the ceremony, we was allowed to put out our own table decorations the food was excellent and so was the cooked breakfasts. The staff were amazing and help through out the whole stay. Faultless service.

Had a wonderful meal with fabulous service by Eve. The food was delicious, it would have been better to have more choices on the menu but Eve made up for the lack of choice with her lovely smile & professional attitude. Excellent choice of drinks though.

We stayed overnight here with three other couples for our annual group reunion, and had a wonderful time. A very friendly welcome on arrival, our rooms were actually ready early. Lunch in the bar was excellent, especially the service, and the food was very reasonably priced. Our room was squeaky clean, with a comfortable bed with great pillows and good lighting; so many places you can’t read in bed these days! Bathroom was great too with a powerful shower. Staff again at breakfast were excellent, the lady worked really hard but smiled throughout. Lovely full English. Overall, a fabulous stay and highly recommended.
