We stayed at Thai Silk Villa and highly recommend for a romantic getaway not too far from Melbourne. Beautiful oriental decor and quiet, tranquil garden. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would suggest bringing a couple of extra towels and just note that the continental breakfast is pretty much a box of muesli... Apart from that, everything else was perfect ! 😉

I booked a weekend away for my wife's 50th birthday and was very disappointed with the accommodation at Thai Villas - Orchid. It was very dark and depressing inside, we needed to put the lights on during the day. Basically there is no direct sunlight and the windows were minimal and very small. That combined with all the wood panelling...

There are two villas at Thai Villas, we stayed in Thai Silk, it was so beautiful as soon as we pulled up into the drive after getting the keys from the friendly staff at 'Daylesford Accomodation'. We had a big night planned for dinner etc. But decided to stay in as we wanted to make the most of what the...

Obviously designed and built by a Thai it is absolutely like being in a beachside Villa in Thailand or Bali. The high ceilings, furniture timber and fittings, unique and so unusual and it really is a very special place. Woodfire, gardens, central heating and full kitchen we had such a great time and right accross the road from the lakes...

Amazing, having stoped in Thailand on our way to Australia we couldn't believe this was a little bit of asia in Daylesford. The villa we stayed (silk) had timber floors high church ceilings, beautiful rugs and comfy furniture, and an open fire which was cosy...

We stayed in Thai Silk for a weekend. It is literally across the road from Lake House, which was part of the attraction for us, as we were attending a dinner there. The two villas, Thai Silk and Thai Orchid, are two Ls that meet at each end around an attractive central pool with fish. There are privacy screens but...
