We arrived in Atherton after a 10 hour drive from Mackay, made a last minute reservation and found our hosts to be very friendly & accomodating. This is our first B & B and we are now converts. The room was clean, spacious and the bed so comfortable, the pool was lovely and private. We highly recommend the blue gum...

Great house and location for exploring Atherton Tablelands. Fabulous verandah for breakfast, dinner & celebratory drinks after a day of exploring. Versatile bedroom options; we were 2 single travellers and had the Pademelon suites with a king bed each and an ensuite in between. Kitchen, lounge room spacious and well designed. Can walk to town via a shaded pathway just...

We had a wonderful stay in the Bandicoot room. Highly recommend. The owners were friendly and very helpful and we shared the entire house with two other couples who were wonderful. Thanks for a great stay!!!

My partner and I stayed at Summit B&B in the Wallaby room with 2 other couples also staying in the b&b. The house itself is beautiful with polished floor boards throughout and a large balcony - which was great for eating breakfast each morning. We made dinner in the provided kitchen each night and found it well appointed with saucepans,...

Our friendly, helpful hosts Helen and John have designed and built a wonderful Queenslander with three separated bedrooms (one has a second room for families) and all with ensuites. There are brilliant shared facilities inside and each room has direct access to a wide verandah with amazing views of the Atherton area. Breakfast on the verandah is memorable. The Tablelands...

We've just spent 4 relaxing days at Bluegum B&B, nestled in the heart of the Atherton tablelands. Helen gave us a warm welcome & information sheet & showed us a map of all the attractions in the surrounding area which was very useful on our explorations. We were pleasantly surprised to find not only a kettle & fridge in our...

We spent two nights here, so had a full day to explore the area. Helen, our host, really could not have been more helpful and gave us plenty of useful information which we took advantage of. This meant we made full use of our time in this lovely area - even watching wild platypus. Would thoroughly recommend the brilliant open...

We've never stayed in a B & B before but after this place we will from now on. The bedroom was spacious, with an ensuite, and the attached common room (lounge and kitchen area) is comfortable and well set out. We asked a question about something we wanted to see while there and while the answer was not known at...

Breakfast is bread left night before for toast, dry cereal, milk, butter and jam. Bath towels were paper thin. Bed was uncomfortable. Bar-b-que was good – used it two nights. TV was small. Room was fair sized but dated furnishings. Rooms were right under owners living space but didn’t have too much noise from that. A bit disappointing…
