Decided to travel from our home in Hervey Bay up to Bowen as we have never been that far up in our caravan. The location of the park is excellent and the facilities are clean with some lovely shady spots away from the hot afternoon sun. It is within walking distance to the town with numerous eating houses and pubs.... More

I think this was the "most average" of all the parks we stayed at during our holiday. Staff were quite brusque and not really obliging. The park itself was immaculately clean, and very quiet. The site we were given was close to the amenities block, unfortunately, the dryers in that block weren't working so had to trudge to the other... More

Very pleased to hear our park is immaculately clean and quiet. So sorry about inconvenience caused by dryer, that has been rectified and we are working on the staff. More

My parents and I stayed for 3 nights in one of the front cabins/villas. Our view was perfect and the caravan park is in a great position being only a short walk to town and right across from a lovely park with bbq facilities. Found to be reasonably priced with everything you need in a neat and tidy self contained... More

Unfortunately we were given a caravan site that was so tight and too small for van. We could not put the awning out as no room to park the car. We had to park the car on the slab. Front site a lot better than back of park It's a pity the fees did not reflect . Don't have a... More

We spent 2 nights at this tidy park that has drive through sites as well as cement slabs. With the Park attendant to guide you in to your site, it is situated across the road from the Harbor where seafood is available on the wharf. The Interpretive Centre on top of a hill with a magnificent view of the Whitsundays... More

Once we got to our site it was great if a little on the cramped side. However, as it is the busy season right now, we booked ahead. We got to the office to find they were not expecting us, didn't have our booking, tried to tell us that we had got mixed up with the other Top Tourist park... More

Cute villa, everything you need in a small space, perfect for a longer stay. Cooking equipment, bedding and towels provided. Walking distance to town and one of the big mangos. Enjoyed the balcony for eating breakfast. We also took advantage of the bikes and kayaks available to hire. Bowen seems to be very popular with the grey nomads, we had... More

We stayed in a holiday villa for two nights. Although the villa was right at the front of the park on the road there was little noise from traffic as it's not a really busy road. Plus we had the bonus of water views. The park is located a short stroll from town and across the road from the water,... More

The park is on the harbour, as the name implies and is an easy 5 minute walk to town. The place is quite well maintained and the amenities are kept clean, has two laundries and a pool with camp kitchen attached. Bowen doesn't appear to have a lot of attractions, however, it's a beautiful 26C day while back home in... More

Friendly welcome and happy to answer questions about eating out and sights to see. We ended up getting food for a BBQ back at the Caravan Park and used the kitchen facilities provided. Bit grubby but not really the owners fault, just the people that had previously used the kitchen. We were annoyed tho at having to pay to use... More
