Order was messed up for my friend with an entrees delivered instead of a main meal. When we enquirer they just said that's what was put down by the barman. No apology, no offer to cook the correct meal and my Thai beef salad with crispy noodles had no noodles.

I highly recommend everyone to plan an overnight stay at the Queens Beach Hotel Bowen. The staff are friendly and you certainly get value for money. Plus the restaurant caters to your every need. Lamb Shanks are first class. For those of you who gamble there are pokies, keno & a TAB. Good luck.

We had a terrific meal on Saturday night. Great atmosphere for a pub, so much that we went back on Sunday night. There was a smaller crowd but the staff went out of their way to ensure my wife and I enjoyed ourselves. We will certainly be returning there on our next stay.

Thoroughly enjoyed our evening meal here on a very busy night. There was a very large group of caravanners from the Queens Beach Tourist Park here for dinner and we expected long delays for our meal. We were very pleasantly surprised at how quick our meals were served. Staff were very friendly and the service was great. Reasonably priced meals...

Went to this hotel on a Saturday afternoon to have a bite to eat for lunch and watch the horse races. It was very quiet with only 3 other people in there. In a quieter section ( we had our kids with us so the quitter section was to allow them to watch their tablets ) of the hotel I...

Staying at the caravan park for three weeks, just over the road and what a lovely hotel. Great service, friendly locals, enjoyable meals. Staff went out of there way to make us comfortable, after a couple of visits we were treated with such friendliness.

Rooms are a little tired and dated , they definately need refurbishing It is out of the way and not on the highway , so is quiet at night .The food is some of the best pub food I've ever had and the staff are always friendly .

We were staying at the caravan park next door and decided to go over for drinks and meal on Friday night. What a huge disappointment this was. Locals and loud music welcomed us at front door. Inside staff who didn't want to be there. Had to constantly push buzzer to get service. 2 drinks and we were out of there...
