The sort of location you dream about, being on cape trib beach and being able to access it directly for sunrise, sunset and all in between is something that is super special. The accommodation is backpacker style, it is basic and for this it is...More

Photos not the same as property. Rooms small for a family with not much to do when raining. No real room to hang out at room so went to bar area which was closed. We were accused of going behind the bar by manager. Not...More

We stopped here for lunch while touring the area early May. Location was pretty good right at the top of a beautiful national park and rainforest. I’m glad we weren’t staying there as the rooms looked pretty shappy with a bit of a hippy feel,...More

Hi Liccy, Thanks for taking the time to give us some feedback! The 'GM' you refer to no longer works at our resort and has no affiliation with Cape Trib Beach House. May I ask when you stayed? I will follow up with reception regarding...More

The beach house is quite secluded with limited shops. The beach house is suppose to be self sufficient. Most of the stuff is delivered from the main land.

Easy Ok getting here any car can make it - road is sealed right to our door. No problemo. Heading further north - I suggest a tour Darcy of Daintree - takes a day to drive around the Bloomfield - spectacular.
