What a special place! Not only were Bev and her son Adrian so supportive and community minded, but the property itself is really one of a kind. Having been hand-built by the family from mud brick, and with the most amazing antiques I've ever seen, this was an unforgettable stay.

Was a lovely stay. Bev and her son Adrian were lovely and made me very welcome. They picked me up from the bus depot and dropped me off at the boat the next day. Rooms were immaculate very clean and tidy full of old furnishings. The whole atmosphere of the place is calm and peaceful. Lovely stay thanks guys!

If you're looking for rich luxury and hospital-level cleanliness, this is not the spot for you. But, if you enjoy a quaint setting, a peaceful vibe and friendly service, this is a great option. I was in room three - a lovely firm mattress, and strong water pressure in the shower. The pool was perfect for an end of the...

Situated just outside Cardwell, this B&B offers a beautiful place to stay which is peaceful and so full of character. The accommodation is made out of mud brick, as the name indicates, and is beautifully made. The rooms are spacious and decorated with beautiful antique trinkets. Make sure you bring along some food supplies with you, as it is not...

Stayed at the Mudbrick Manor overnight with our two sons. We booked two rooms and really enjoyed our stay. It's quiet and peaceful & has a lot of character. The bedspreads & curtains could do with an upgrade but this is easily overlooked due to the cosy homely feel & beautiful gardens. Bev cooked up a great brekkie & overall...

A wonderfully small friendly place that if you can get a booking is worth it. Best place anywhere round Cardwell no doubt. If you have an interest in anything antique and precious you will want to stay longer just to keep finding more treasures hidden round every corner.. Neat pool after a hot Queensland day, wonderful rooms, a little dark...

Going on the rest of the reviews we must of got the only room that had dust and cobwebs everywhere, baby cockroaches in the bedding and the quilts really ponged, the lighting was also very poor, maybe to hide the dirt and also the air cond hardly worked.. not great for $170 a night.

What a wonderful little establishment; one of the two best B & B's we have stayed at (the other being Fothergill's in Fremantle, WA). Bev, thank you so much for your great hospitality and your kind help with our recent "emergency" change of plans. We hope have the privilege of staying with you again sometime and will give Mudbrick Manor...

Lovely room, lovely breakfast, lovely common facilities and ambience. It is further out of Cardwell than we expected but that certainly isn't a problem as it really was a wonderful, comfortable, relaxing place to stay.

Stayed for two nights at family run Mudbrick Manor. We highly appreciated the social and helpful staff as well as the spacious rooms and the wounderful garden. The English breakfast is another highlight. We highly recommend Mudbrick manor to anyone that is hiking the Thorsborne trail and is in need for comfortable accomodation before as well as after the trail.
