The drive from Mackay to Cloncurry was quite a journey, so we were very eager to check in and have some dinner and a well deserved shower. We were so pleasantly surprised that Reception waited for us to check in as it was past 8pm. The staff were so friendly and upon entering our room, we knew we had chosen well. We could park our car right out the front of our room, the air conditioning was on and perfect, the TV easy to navigate and most importantly, the ensuite was large and the shower hot. Breakfast the next morning in the attached restaurant was delicious, with my sourdough, eggs and mushrooms being of great quality and reasonably priced. We will definitely stay here again.

Had a great dinner at the restaurant, food was lovely and the staff are very friendly. The room was very clean, spacious and the bed was very comfortable. This is the first hotel with the smart tv’s that you can easily cast a movie from your iPad to the tv screen, it was fantastic! We have travelled up the qld coast and not 1 hotel offered this, we have been dragging our google cast everywhere and most places their internet doesn’t allow it. It’s fantastic that such a remote location has updated their facilities and is modern. Highly recommend staying here when your in Cloncurry.

Large rooms, comfortable beds, good showers, only downside was no plates and bowls. Would stay again. Manager was a lovely woman. Well set out, quiet rooms even though on m a in road, close to visitor information centre and Mary Kathleen museum which is well worth a visit

This is really a great place to stay, staff very friendly and helpful. It’s close to town and very clean and tidy place to stay. They also have a restaurant, food is good and there’s also a bar. The rooms are well equipped and very clean and tidy plenty of room to move. They also have a pool, laundry and bbq areas their as well. Good place to stay it’s not far from Mt Isa if you can’t get somewhere to stay at Mt Isa. Well worth a stop at.
