This is our 2nd visit here. From the wonderful welcome, to the fabulous fresh breakfasts, to the sumptuous soaps... this is a great way to slow down and re-connect as a couple. Be sure to walk down to the creek and visit the eateries at Maleny whilst you are there.

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay in our cabin in the forest. It was so well equipped and private with so many little extras to enjoy like bubble bath and salts for the spa and warm bread each morning and homemade jams. We enjoyed the trek down to the creek and also listening to all the birds. A lovely... More

We spent a very cold 'winter escape' weekend warned by the wonderful fire in this very private and secluded cabin. The layout of the cabin is wonderful but the furniture could do with updating. This is a shame really. However the bed was fabulous, the fire fab, the water and the spa hot and the peace so rewarding. It is... More

Good afternoon Anita, Thank you for the, mostly, positive review. The furniture has recently all been recovered and new cushions. Those big couches that gold coast style homes have would not suit the Balinese style pavilions we offer. Our guests are usually happy to replenish firewood, if needed, as it is part of the experience but the amount provided is... More

We stayed in hide. This hideaway was the most beautiful tranquil cottage set within the bush in the Maleny hinterland. Stunning cottage beautiful bed and wonderful spa bath. The fresh homemade bread arrived every morning and was lovely with the homemade jams. The owners were helpful and gave us local knowledge for a great place for dinner in Maleny. No... More

We stayed here for just one night just before we face the family Christmas chaos. It was a perfect retreat. We stayed in the 'Hide' pavilion. Everything we needed was thoughtfully supplied and extra touches like the tea leaves, ground coffee, champagne, home made jam and the freshly delivered hot bread in the morning make this place extra special. We... More

My husband and I have stayed in the Hide pavilion twice now and both times were incredible. I recommend Lyola to anyone looking for a romantic escape. Laying in bed looking out the window all that can be seen is a silhouetted canopy of trees with a million stars over head. It is truly magical. Things to love about Lyola... More

Perfect for the couple looking for some peace and quiet, the space to "be yourselves" and not be bugged by your phone or email (No Optus) Walked down to the swimming hole and rock hopped up the river looking for another more private pool for a swim and were rewarded with a beautiful spot. “"Seek" is the one if you want the views across the valley and "Hide" if you want to be secluded in the trees.”

“Hide, the lower unit was perfect, maybe better since you get an outdoor shower and a little outdoor area you can bask in the sun. The other one (Seek) is high up and no deck or outside balcony we could see. Neither of them can see each other, Hide may be more private as lower/further away from carpark.”
