Silky Oaks Lodge was like a dream I didn't want to wake up from. My husband and I stayed in a river treehouse for three nights and I could happily have stayed for many more! The location is tucked away next to the Mossman River in the Daintree Rainforest, and it feels like a

I am sure you can send an email to the hotel requesting vegetarian meals. They were very accommodating. There is nothing nearby. You go to silky oaks to get away from everything

"The river treehouses are worth the cost--incredibly private with beautiful views."
"Do a night in the Billabong suite - it is worth it!"
"If you have mobility issues, be sure and get a cabin close to the lodge. Very steep climb to some of them."
"The River treehouse is worth the splurge. Simply stunning, and slightly off the guests regular walking track thus more private and quiet."
"Some rooms have steep paths, if you have difficulty walking ask for a room closer to the reception area."
