We stayed I a lovely cottage, neat and clean with a charming country feel. The staff were very helpful, the gardens and common lounge lovely. We had a coffee and muesli breakfast in their cafe which was delicious. Overall a great experience and right up the top of my favourites list.

We wanted to spend some time in Yungaburra so decided to book this gorgeous accommodation some months back. We arrived at the property around lunch time, met the Manager, Kevin, who is so delightful and checked in to our cottage which was at the back amongst a tropical garden which was very well maintained. The cottage had everything you needed...

We stayed for 2 nights with our daughter, son in law and 2,small children. We had everything we needed and more. Pretty gardens, safe for children, very clean, comfortable cottages, could have stayed longer. We were made very welcome, nothing too much trouble for the owner; don't know where else you'd have complimentary wine and all the additional bits you...

So much choice for accommodation in Yungaburra, but I don't think you could do much better than these lovely cottages. Our hosts Rob and Melanie were so thoughtful in all that was provided for our stay of 2 nights. They joined the guests for happy hour on Saturday night, in the lovely outdoor lounge area, but as we were the...

Terrific hosts who are justifiably proud of their establishment. Immaculate cottages, grounds and facilities. First on our list of places to stay on the Tablelands. Located in the heart of Yungaburra within walking distance to everything in town.

I would thoroughly recommend Allumbah Pocket Cottages. My husband and I stayed for a four-night package and enjoyed it so much that we booked another night in preference to staying at Kuranda or Cairns as we had planned. This place was exactly what we were looking for with private, well-maintained, self-contained and air-conditioned cottages at a very reasonable price set...

We came back to stay after a great visit in Winter. When we entered the cottage we were met by a horrid smell and found the rubbish bin full. No extra bags anywhere so we improvised. First thing we did was have a spa bath and once submerged we couldn't help notice the vomit stains around the outside of the...

What a terrible review. Can hardly believe it. I do wish you had fronted reception and asked us to come and look at the state of the cottage when you moved in, as all I can say is we find it incredulous... horrible smell, vomit round toilet? full bin? dirty shower, dust, cracked glass... its a nightmare. I honestly don't...

My husband and I are from Cairns and recently spent two nights at this gorgeous tropical retreat. It's so peaceful and private, the cottages have old world charm, tastefully furnished with a fabulous king sized bed, spotlessly clean and the bathroom is huge with a lovely spa. The owners Rob and Melanie are so friendly and obliging, the goats milk...

The soap an shampoo very tiny, cottage not serviced at all twoels not changed at all, spa stone cold...

We were very 'underwhelmed' by this posting. Lots of unfair criticism which we now wear forever. For the world to know.... we supply our guests with goat milk soap and shampoo and conditioner. it costs us about 3 times more to supply this than commercial off the rack hotel toiletries; the soap is small but the same size as you...

We were very excited about our stay after reading the website with promises of goats milk toiletries, beautiful bread baskets and luxury accommodation. Unfortunately it wasn't quite this - only 2 pieces of small soap and the shampoo and conditioner in large container in shower, no body lotions or spa bubbles. The bread basket was a piece of brown bread...

We are sorry that your stay was marred by disappointment. The two areas you raised were the toiletries are substandard; but they are all goat milk, which costs us more than the off the rack selection, and we buy local, hence unable to source goat milk hand lotions in the sizes required... the shampoo and conditioner is goatmilk and in...
