I took my 80 year old Dad to Willow Springs in October 2016 as I knew I wouldn't have the opportunity to do this type of travel with him again. The idea was to use Willow Springs as a base in the Flinders and then Day trip from there and it worked perfectly due to it's central position. We set... More

Stayed in September (second stay at Willow Springs) in one of the private un-powered camping sites (Valley View). Returned after a one night stay 12 months ago but returned because of the privacy and peace and quiet of the individual camping areas and to do the Skytrek. Only $25 for a couple which I think is great value considering you... More

we stayed at a bush camp on the property with offered absolute privacy and tranquillity. It was like being in a different world/universe entirely. From total relaxation watching the unbelievable stars lying on a tarpaulin to sitting for hours by the campfire enjoying food, wine, and lots of a laughs with old friends and some new friends too. There are... More

We chose a remote campsite and were not disappointed. We had loads of space nestled between hills, our own fire-ring and drop toilet. You can drive to a hot shower, washing machine or extra drinking water. All available at homestead. The Skytrek drive is a great trip. Allow 8 hrs if you like to take your time or if you... More

6 hrs of oohing and ahhing. Fantastic scenery, excellent instructions and the last 20kms of the 80km trip was challenging 4wding. This trip had it all and I cannot recommend it enough. We had a ball!!! Every minute of the trip there was something else to see, from the fantastic scenery, kangaroos, emus, lizards and of course the sheep. The... More

I stayed at this historic sheep station with a world expeditions bushwalking tour. The station property is wonderful for its location and history, and for the taste of outback life. I was lucky with great weather so the property was looking green on my sunny stay. I was busy on the tour so did not get a chance to walk... More
