Lovely spot for a long, leisurely Lunch at any time of year. Staff are courteous and friendly assisting with specials and good places to sit. Meals are interesting and very tasty demanding a time to thoroughly enjoy. Wine list is fairly extensive covering wineries of McLaren Vale. We had a most enjoyable lunch

We visited here @ last minute yesterday. Prompt response to Internet enquiry. Good Price pint. Great position right near Wirra Wirra (walking distance) and also near Hugh Hamilton cellar door. Disappointed restaurant closed at 5.. But meant we booked in with Chook and headed into Main Street for dinner... No cooked Breakky on week days which also was a bummer...

Saturday lunch to celebrate birthday. Seated on the verandah in a country setting. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Food was delicious - something for everyone. A kid friendly restaurant with kid menu. BYO at very reasonable corkage. An art gallery on the premises & a B&B.

We stayed in room with ensuite which we recommend. Breakfast supplies plentiful. Beautiful fresh bread. Had lunch in restaurant value for money ++++. Room was comfortable and roomy. Weather was cold at time and Ros told us to leave heater on at all times. Thank you Ros. Middle of wine country so plenty of wineries to visit.

I have often visited Red Poles, which is situated in the beautiful grape growing area of McLaren Vale and have always found the service there to be outstanding; with a great menu, and as a vegetarian there are several vegetarian meals to choose from also. The welcoming atmosphere around the venue is topped with classy easy going music and the...

My friends and I stayed at Red Poles for two nights over Easter. We stayed in two separate rooms but shared a bathroom. There's two showers and toilets so that didn't bother us at all. Huge king size bed, comfy robes (useful for trips to and from the bathroom) and gorgeous continental breakfast provided with homemade bread all for $115...

Once again we had lunch at Red Poles, at McLaren Vale.....excellent as usual. Great food, great service, and nothing was too much trouble. Loved it!! Took friends from the Riverland, and they too thought it fantastic. Met some people visiting from England, and they too thought it delightful. Well done Red Poles.

I bought two nights accommodation in a travel auction but decided to give it to my parents as a gift. They left after one night because the bed was hard and the rooms are quite isolated. The room was quite clean though. I feel quite embarrassed to have given them the voucher.
