Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had a fantastic stay at this park for 3 days. The owners were welcoming and helpful. The amenities were spotless. It is a small park with a friendly atmosphere and the attention paid to the environment is fabulous. My green heart loved it.

The staff here are so friendly and it is a lovely place to camp with an excellent camp kitchen. Very easy access to the Quorn Silo Lightshow which is an absolute must! Quorn is a rare gem of a town and this campsite is ideally located just across the road from the railway.

Reluctantly post this review in hope that park reconsiders its cabin policy. Wished to stay there in cabin for one night. Management dictates minimum of 2 nights @ $145 per night. I’m sure the cabins and park are very nice, but not under those conditions.

I'm not sure that using social media for this type of query / complaint (and a 2* review) is appropriate, so it is with some reluctance that I am now replying. Please email stay@quorncaravanpark.com.au for further info. We can accommodate some single night stays, depending on availability. Enquiries are welcome via email or by phone, 8648 6206.

The hosts were brilliant - friendly and helpful! The park is set in lovely peaceful surroundings in the 'centre' of town - walking distance to food in town. The Silo Lightshow is a must - Quorn is a great example of a progressive country town. The facilities in the park were excellent and spotlessly clean. Very happy with this place and would stay again as a base.

Beautiful native well organised CP. Check in was easy & uncomplicated. Big laundry available. Amenities were clean, showers were hot. Free Silo Light Show was so informative. Local IGA was good to stock up on supplies before heading to Wilpena Pound.

Quiet & clean caravan park in Quorn. The setting is magic- plenty of vegetation, birds & walking trail. It’s a short walk across the disused rail lines to the silo light show each evening. The tourist information office is close by & a little further to the supermarket, Quandong cafe & a gallery. Our 2 bed cabin was small, quaint & spotlessly clean everything was provided & the management was exceptionally welcoming & friendly. There was even a coffee press!

Glad to hear of you enjoyed our Quorn Quaintness, in our little historic town! We have fabulous managers in Clint & Tarran who will be most appreciative of your kind review! It's all pretty convenient in town; and if you'd like to return and explore Quorn further, we can recommend the Pichi Richi Railway (tickets available at the Quorn Railway Station) and the Pithi Kawi Bush Food Garden via our coded back gate ... and Michi's Kitchen for fab Japanese takeaway ... and Flinders Gin for internationally awarded products! For bushwalking further afield, the Dutchman's Stern CP has one of the nicest walks in the Flinders Ranges! Many thanks for taking the time to write, Jo. Kind regards, Bronwyn

This is a very small park and we were quite thankful to get a site here as it suited our purposes. There isn't anything fancy about the park and it was neat and clean and the amenities are good. However, at $45PN we thought it was a bit expensive.

Responded 12 May 2023
Hi Lorraine When some guests stay in the section of our park we call the "Olive Grove" as it's bordered by a high hedge, they might fail to explore the remainder of the Park on our 10-acre site. The site you were placed in was also a less aesthetically pleasing one, so understand why you might have felt your stay with us was a tad expensive. You may not have made it out our coded back gate to Quorn's Bush Food Garden but hope that you made it to the Quorn Silo Light Show! We consider that we have a value-for-money product and hope you can appreciate that with electricity and other prices doubling in the past few years, we've had to revisit pricing. Some operators employ dynamic pricing but we choose to keep a flat rate, no matter how busy, as we are this year. Thanks for taking the time to write. Kind regards, Bronwyn

Located “across the tracks” from the railway station and rail precinct, this park has very pleasant grounds with plenty of trees and varied birdlife. It is a short walk into town and there is access at the back of the park to pick up some pleasant parkland walking tracks. Staff are friendly, amenities are excellent and there is good mobile coverage. A little more expensive than other parks in the region (only choice in Quorn though) but a discount applies to Kui Park members - yet to visit a Kui Park that we have not been happy with.

Response from Bronwyn Lucas, Owner at Quorn Caravan Park
Responded 17 Mar 2023
We’ve created a bush style garden, care for our centuries-old trees, encouraging birdlife into the park with local plantings. We’re very happy to have new neighbours in the Pithi Kawi Bush Food Garden and similarly would be happy with another privately owned caravan park, such as ours. We’re very happy to be welcoming Clint & Tarran to our team to manage the Park and are confident that they’ll do a fabulous job! Circumstances over the past few years now see us having to increase our prices, and with the latest news of 20-30% increase in electricity on the way, we imagine other operators in our region will soon be following suit. We do however, provide a value for money product. Many thanks for taking the time to write, Bob & Jan. Kind regards, Bronwyn
